I wish for you to smile at the reflection in the mirror
I wish you knew how astounding you are
The way you can turn the corners of anyone's mouth upwards
How your presence is so grand and comforting
You are the metaphorical shoulder to cry on
I wish for you to one day feel at peace
For you do not have it easy
And I wish for only happiness to surround you
Life is hard, but you
You, my dear, are larger than life.
You are built of nature, you are a force to be reckoned with
I wish for you to soar; to believe in yourself
I wish for you to live
To be unabashed by who you are
I wish for you to experience the positive aspects of life
For while they are often few and far between, they are there
Some may require searching, some may not
However, I wish for you to feel alive
You are more than you think
I wish for you to fall in love with yourself.
I wish for you to have hope.
I wish for you to be as kind to yourself as you are to everyone else.
I wish for life to treat you well.

PoetryI occasionally write super depressing poetry/ snafus of writing. I honestly don't follow any specific type (rhyme schemes, etc.) because I prefer them to be fluid. The one thing is, it's generally an unreliable narrator.
