Chapter 6

i didnt tell you guys, but Nicole gets out of school at 3:00 pm. andit is fall

Thursday

I woke up at my usual time. I go to Riley's room and find her drenched in sweat. Nicole: " Oh no Riley..." I take her covers off and lead her to her my bathroom and i run the bath. Riley: " Coley i don't feel good..." Then she threw up in the toilet. Great. I flush he toilet and put her hair into a pony tail. Nicole: " I know... your sick... im going to go get the thermometer." I came back and took her temperature. it was 102.98. Well thats not good now is it? Nicole: " Ok Riley, get in the tub..." i sighed. I'm going to have to miss school. Riley got in and relaxed. she had to stay there until her temperature drops at least a little. i sat on top of the toilet cover thing and called Ethan. Ethan: " Hello?" He sounded like he was asleep. Nicole: " Hey sorry for calling but... Riley's sick and i don't know what to do ???" Ethan: " Where is she now?" Nicole: " She had a 102 fever so i put her in the bath..." Ethan: " Okay give her the medicine and make her drink a lot of water. If she has stomach aches, giver her sprite and crackers. If her temperature is still high, put an ice pack on her head. make sure she sleeps for at least 1 hour, put socks on her and let her rest on the couch. put that little trash can you have next to her if she has to puke." Nicole: " Umm... i think i got it? Let me write it down can you repeat?" Ethan: " Actually, im coming over. You clearly need help." He laughed. Nicole: " It's not funny! this is the first time shes gotten sick since my mom and dad died!" Ethan: " Sorry nicole... im coming over now..." and before i could say anything else, he hung up. i went downstairs and got water and crackers and sprite. Thats all i could remember. I ran back upstairs and checked her temperature again. it was 100.89. good. it lowered. Riley: " Coley, my stomach hurts and i dont want to be in here anymore!" Nicole: " Okay, let me take you out in a second. i have to get your pajamas."

I got her a different pair of pajamas and one of my towels. I took her out and changed her into the pjs and gave her the sprite and crackers when she went downstairs on the couch.Nicole: Drink this and eat these crackers. Heres the water an- crap, i forgot your medicine." I ran to the medicine cabinet and looked at all the medicine. i started looking at the bottles. Nicole: " Riles', do you have a belly ache?" " Yeah" "okay sweating,fever and headaches?" "yeah" "Nausea?" " Coley, i dont even know what that is..." i ran up to her with 4 bottles in my hand. Nicole: " You have to take all of these." She groaned. i made her take all 4 of the nasty liquids and heard the doorbell. I walked to the door and saw Ethan. Ethan: " Hey." I moved to the side so he could come in. He walked in and immediately felt Riley's head. Nicole: Ethan i can't believe you skipped school for this. im pretty sure i got it." Ethan: " Well... you seemed confused." Nicole: " What di your mom say?" Ethan: " Didn't tell her- can you hand me that thermometer?" i passed him the thermometer. Nicole: " Ethan that was dumb to do that." He shrugged. Ethan: " Her fever went down. its 99.89. Normal temperature is about 95-96.90. Riley, can you get some sleep?" She nodded and closed her eyes. Nicole: " Ethan i couldve done that and you could be getting ready for school. its only 6:20, you have time!" Ethan: " I don't want to go though..." Nicole: " you can stay if you want Ethan, but your going to get in trouble..." Ethan: " Well im staying." I could hear Riley soon snoozing. We walked out of the living room and upstairs to my room so we wouldnt wake Riley up. Nicole: " Did you eat yet?" Ethan: " Nope" Nicole: " I didnt eat either, what do you want?" Ethan: " Pizza?" Nicole: " For breakfast?" Ethan: " Why not?" Nicole: " Your such a goof... alright. Do you like pineapple?" Ethan: " Yeah howd you know?" Nicole: " i always get pineapple on my pizza." Ethan: " Same." * 20 minutes later the pizza arrives* Ethan: " OH MY GOSH I LOVEEEEE PIZZAAAAAAAA." I laughed and took a bite of my pizza. at the end of it, i ate 2 slices and Ethan ate 4. We were so full that we just lied around in my room on our phones. He was laying on my bed and i was in my chair thingy (above in the room).

Time: 7:30 am

Eventually, after 1 hour, Riley wakes up. I didnt know though, so she came to my room. Riley: " COLEY I STILL DONT FEEL GOOD!" She shouted. Nicole: " AAH!" I shrieked. Ethan laughed. nicole: " You scared me Riley." Riley wasnt happy. She had her arms crossed in front of her. Riley: " Can you check my temperature?" She said annoyed. Nicole: " Yeah lets go downstairs." The 3 of us walked downstairs, and I took her temperature. Nicole: " 97.87 hmm... is that good Ethan?" Ethan: " i wouldnt consider her sick anymore, its closed to normal temperature." Nicole: " Great that good... Ethan what are we going to do until schools over?" I said as i walked over to the cabinets. I grabbed pancake mix. Ethan: " Hmm let me think." Nicole: " K. Riley your hungry right?" i showed her the pancake mix. She nodded and went into he room. I grabbed a bowl to make the pancake mix and added the ingredients it said on the box. Riley returned with her coloring book, and crayons. When the batter was done i went to the fridge and got some blueberries and added them to the batter. i put the pan on the burner and added some batter to make a pancake. Ethan: " We could hiking, or go to Dave and Busters, or go swimming...." Nicole: " I looked at him sitting at the table and smiled. Nicole: " How about we do all of that?" Ethan: " Really?! im so hype now." i smiled and laughed. he acted like a little kid... well Riley basically. I flipped the pancake and waited until it was cooked. Nicole: " k let me make a schedule on my phone."
A couple minutes past and i made 2 pancakes for Riley. We were sitting on the couch, riley, watching bubble guppies, me on my phone, laying on the ground because im weird af, and Ethan on the couch, on his phone like a normal person. Time? 8:23 am. i yawned. Riley: " Are you tired Coley?" Nicole: " Yeah... i went to bed late..." I rubbed my eyes. Riley: " Why are you laying on the ground?" I shrugged. Riley yawned. Riley: " Nicole! You made me sleepy!" I laughed.
Nicole: " Wanna take a nap?" She got up. Riley: " Yeah but wake me up when we are going?" nicole: " Will do. C'mon" and i went to her room with her. I put her in her bed. Nicole: " I promise i'll wake you up okay?" She nodded. I left her room and went back into the living room. I sat on the couch since Riley left.

Ethan hasnt said anything, probably just occupied with something on his phone. i laid down in a fetus position and my feet were touching Ethan. I propped my head on my hand, and flipped through the channels. I chose to put on impratical jokers. Ugh, ive already seen this episode. i stood up. Nicole: " Ethan i'll be right back." Ethan: "K." he said without looking up from his phone. I went upstairs to my room and changed into my pajamas, which werent really pajamas. Just a black volleyball shirt that was 2 sizes too big and black workout shorts. I went back downstairs and sat back on the couch, in a normal position. i noticed that i started to doze off, but i couldnt help myself. I fell asleep, and was woken up by Ethan. His hands were wrapped around me like a hug from the side ( if that makes sense) and he was kinda rocking side to side, saying " Its okay nicole" i shot up. Nicole: " What were you doing?" And i felt my face was wet. Ethan: " Wait you were asleep? i thought you were awake... well you were crying in your sleep i guess. Your were saying, " No, stop." and " why did you take them from me, why me." Nicole: " Oh... i do that sometimes..." Ethan: " If you need someone to talk to, im here." Nicole: " Thanks... what time is it?" Ethan: " 12:56 pm " He said after he checked his phone. Nicole: " Oh wow, sorry i slept so long..." Riley: " GUESS WHO'S AWAKE?!" She said. Nicole: " How was your nap?" Riley: " Good, i had a dream tha-" My phone rang. Nicole: " Hold on Riles' someones calling me." i picked up my phone. Nicole: " Heyyyy Nickyyyy!" Nicole: " Sam, what are you doing? Your suppose to be in 5 period ???" Sam: " Got sent home because i uhh..." Nicole: " What did you do?" Sam: " i may or may not have got into a fight with the slut- snake at school..." Nicole: " Is it that girl Rachel again?" Sam: " Yeah but SHE STARTED IT FIRST! SHE PULLED MY HAIR WHEN I WALKED BY AND S-" Nicole: " Calm down... its okay, but what did your mom say?" Sam: " She's okay with it if i didnt start it." Nicole: " Okay cool now why'd you call me?" at this point, Riley lost interest and wandered off. Sam: " Well im bored an-"..... nicole: " Sam?" Well she hung up... Nicole: " Um okay..." Ethan: " Sam?" Nicole: " Yeah howd you know that?" Ethan: " I could hear her screaming..." I laughed.

OKAY SO... i know in my last chapter ( chapter 5) i said i would include 2 days in stead of 1 day in this chapter, and i didnt even finish 1 day... sorry but i dont have a good ending. AND i know that no one reads my fanfics but... i will ( and when you read this i already have) change the character Nicole. She will not be played by Madison Beer anymore. I want her to be played by Tina Woods. If you don't know who that is, get off of wattpad, go onto YouTube, and search TooTurntTina. Now. She is my idol and is crazy funny. And in my opinion, prettier than Madison. SOOO yeh... BYE.
