Our Life: Ratliff (Catching Up)

Ratliff's P.O.V

Calu, Trent, Troy, Rydel, and I were all sitting in Rydel's backyard by the pool  up, when we asked them what have they been doing.

"Well, we each got a job at the coffee shop down the road." Troy said fake smiling. I knew it was a fake smile.

"Sweet!" Rydel said smiling.

"What have you been doing?" Calum asked Rydel and I.

"Well, Rydel works at a shop in Paris, but since we're here, we both had to quit our jobs. I had a job at a shop in Paris aswell." I said fake smiling and glaring at them when Rydel wasn't looking.

Trent noticed my glare and glared right back at me.

"Are you guys playing a staring game or something?" Rydel asked giggling.

I laughed-fake of course-with Calum, Trent, and Troy as well.

"Well, I'm going to go make some lemonade. I'll be back with a large pitcher." Rydel smiled and went into the house leaving me with Calum, Trent, and Troy.

"Listen Ratliff, you better not tell her what you have been hiding from her." Calum glared.

"I wasn't planning on it! Why would you think I would do that?" I asked angrily.

We were about to get into this really big argument, but Rydel came back.

"I'm back!" She singed giggling.

She set the tray down and we all took a glass.

I looked at Rydel and silently sighed.

I wish I could tell her....
