Our Life: Ratliff (I Was There)

A/n: Heyyyy! :) I still don't know when I want to post the sequel to 'Rumors a Rydellington Love Story' but comment down below if you're excited! :) I hope you like this chapter! :)

Ratliff's P.O.V

"What do you mean they took her?!" I shouted.

Ryland quickly handed over the note before I started to read it out loud.

"Dear Ratliff,

Hey little brother how are you? We're fine thanks for asking. What are we doing? Oh you know. Taking Rydel that's what we're doing! >:) if you want her back all you have to do is meet us behind the building where you're performing at tonight.

Have fun >:)

-Calum, Trent, and Troy"

I dropped the note.

"What are we going to do?!" Riker shouted.

"We have to meet them, that's what we're doing!" Ross said.

"No." I said quietly.

"What do you mean no?!" Rocky shouted.

"They're too dangerous. Let me go by myself." I said said.

"Yeah, that's why we're coming with you!" Ryland said.

"I'm serious. The last time they did something like this they landed the guy in the hospital. I would know. I was there." I said looking down.

"What do you mean you were there?" Ross asked confused.

"I'm saying that I was there when they did something like this..." I said.

They all listened.

"It happened right after I turned 17, and started picking on Rydel..."

*Flashback*

I was hanging in my room with Kelly before Calum walked to my door and knocked.

"Come in!" I shouted putting my math book down.

"Kelly, your brother is here to pick you up." Calum smiled. Although it didn't look real.

"Ok! Bye Ratliff!" She said kissing my cheek and walking out.

"Trent, Troy and I are heading out." Calum said, "Mom got stuck at work so she'll be home around midnight." He said walking out.

I sighed and looked down. I'm so bored. I decided to watch some T.V so I grabbed my remote and pressed the power button.

(3 Hours Later...)

After about 2 movies my phone started ringing.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Ratliff? Is Kelly with you?" A voice asked.

It was Kelly's brother Zack.

"Zack? No Kelly isn't with me, Calum said you came to pick her up." I said confused.

"No I didn't!" He defended, "I haven't seen her since this morning!"

"Meet me at that alleyway downtown behind that fish restaurant. 'I think I know where she is." I said grabbing my shoes.

(At the alleyway)

"Why are we here?" Zack asked.

"My brothers work at the fish restaurant right here, so we can see if they have seen her." I explained.

Zack nodded and followed me.

What caught me by surprise was that Kelly was there. Duct tape on her mouth and ropes on her wrists.

"Kelly!" I ran over to her, "Who did this to you?"

Kelly then widened her eyes at something behind me.

I turned around only to see Calum, Trent, and Troy standing there with smirks on their faces.

"Well...well....well....!" Trent said, "Why are you here Ratliff?"

"Because she's my girlfriend and I was worried! So was her brother!" I shouted. "Why would you take her?"

"Because we saw how happy you were with her, and we wanted to see you sad!" Troy said laughing.

"YOU DONT TAKE MY SISTER AWAY YOU IDIOTS!" Zack shouted throwing a punch to Troy's face.

After that one punch everything started to get violent. It was 3 against 1.

We all heard an ear shrieking scream before we saw Zack on the ground with his right arm and left leg in a weird angle. Against the wall unconscious.

Calum, Trent, and Troy ran out of the alley before I dialed 911 and started to untie Kelly.

*End of Flashback*

"Zack was in the hospital for 3 weeks. A broken nose, broken arm, and a broken leg. They knocked him unconscious for a week." I finished.

Rocky, Riker, Ryland, and Ross all stared at me in shock when I finished.

"I have to do this by myself..... I don't know what I would ever do without Rydel...." I said.
