The Tattoo story Chapter 10

I took a deep breath, as I told myself I could do this. I stood there and the big white oak doors, opened, and I walked in to meet the eyes of hundreds of people.

Their eyes were wide with shock as I walked in, my dress spilling around me like a puddle.

The people were enchanting looking, some were very short other were very tall, they all looked magical in their big poofy dresses, making me wonder what their eyes are.

I walked to the center of the room, where the King, Anna, Lylinda, and Holden stood.

They all looked beautiful, the king was dressed in white velvety capes, with jewels all over him, and Anna was in a simple yellow dress, while Lylinda was in this pink slutty dress, that showed a little to much cleavage, but Holden he was wearing a red shirt with a black jacket. The King smiled at me as I stood next to him, but Lylinda was passing me glares, that felt like they were going to burn holes straight through me.

He cleared his throat, and the room fell quiet as their eyes fell upon the king.

“ My guest’s, Im so glad everyone could come here tonight to welcome home your future Queen, we are glad to Have Lilly Rose back home, 18 years ago she was taken away from us as a baby, but now 18 years later she is back, and powerful as ever if I may say so.” He winked to me on that. “so please enjoy your visit tonight and remember this night forever in your hearts, because this is the night to celebrate Lilly, now continue dancing and eating!”  He put his hands up in the air at the last part, saying it loudly with triumph, everyone turned away and started whispering to their partners.

I didn’t notice Lylinda stabding infront of me until, she cleared her throat, rolling her eyes at me.

“ ugh I wish I didn’t half to come to this tonight, I hate it especially because its all about you, and it always has been, your probley not fit to become queen anyway, you will probley turn this kingdom into dust!’’.

She smirked at the last part while I raised my eyebrows in confusion. “ w-what do you mean queen??!”

I could barley get out the sentence, but Lylinda shook her head, continuing her glaring at me.

“are you really that stupid! Your mother was older than my father theirfore, the throne is yours when my father hands it over, that’s the rules here Lilly”. She spat out my name as she walked away flipping her hair at me.

I just stood in the middle of the room, feeling lost, as everyone started dancing, a beautiful slow song came on and everyone were just standing looking at me, why were they looking at me like that?

My thoughts were cut of as I felt a strong hand on my shoulder; I turned to see Ergon smiling at me.

“ princess they wont dance until you begin to dance, it’s the custom rules here, soo may I have this dance?’

He holded his hand out bowing down,I took his hand and  he placed it around his neck, and then I placed my other around his neck, while he placed his hands gently around my waist pulling me closer to him, as we began the first dance of the night. Everyone soon started dancing, filling the gaps around us.

Ergon leaned down and whispered in my ear. “may I say that you are the most beautiful person here tonight”.

His lips lingered against my ear causing Goosebumps to appear. I could feel my cheeks, turning red, as I looked up at ergon, blushing deeply.

“thank you but I half to disagree, there are so many beautiful women here”. Ergon was about to comment, but Rowan cut in stepping in the middle of us, smirking. “id half to agree with Lilly on that one, soo Ergon if you would just leave, its my turn with Lilly.

Ergon glared at Rowan as he walked away, to leave me staring at Rowan madly. “ Must you be so rude!”

I glared at him while I took in his appearance, he was wearing a black tuxedo, with a bright blue in the middle, his hair was slicked back, and his eyes were so blue but icy. I quickly looked away  noticing I was checking him out, he noticed to because he pulled me closer, forcing me to dance with him.

“ is someone jealous!?”. He faked a gasp laughing down at me stepping on my foot on purpose.

My foot had searing pains go through out it as I thought two people could play at this dance. My hands that were around his neck suddenly became cool, I could feel the Ice forming at the nape of his neck.

He let a low growl out as he quickly stepped away from me. “ Next time were in battle, I’m not going to go easy on you”. He squinted his eyes down at me while he rubbed his neck. I smirked at his pain, placing my hands on my hips. “ please ill just drown you again, you wet dog!” he smiled a little until he looked down at my wrist, pulling it away from my hip, tracing the Tattoo that was on it, I Felt shivers go up my spine as I tried to pull my wrist away but it didn’t work, he still held me captive. His voice became low at his eyebrows burrowed together. “ Why do you have this Tattoo?” his eyes were stick locked on my wrist as  he stared harder at it. Why does he want to know about my Tattoo? “ I got it done secretly when I was 16, I was walking by a tattoo place downtown when I saw it in the window, I felt drawn to it, it made me feel safe, I asked the man what it meant and he said it meant infinity, and it stands for forever and always”. Rowan’s eyes Looked one up at me and his eyes were filled with pain, as he escused himself away from. I watch him walk away from the room, still feeling his hands on my wrist.

I looked all around me noticing people were bowing down to me as they walked away, I nodded at them as I made my way to the King. His eyes met mine and they were filled answers and concern, I smiled at him telling his I was going up to my bedroom. He nodded my head, and called for Ergon asking him to escort me up to my bedroom, Ergon agreed happily and took my arm walking up to my room, I don’t know why  I felt sadness come over me. But as we made it too my room, Ergon stepped closer to me smiling, I smiled up at his face, his beautiful face was illuminated in the light, and as he said goodnight to me, he cupped my face with his hands and pulled his lips down to mine as he softly placed a kiss on my lips, I immediately, wrapped my arms around his neck, kissing him eaglery, back as I felt the warmth in his soft lips, he moved his lips to my cheek then to the corner to my mouth, nut I got impatience as I crushed mine back to his. He chuckled by my sudden boldness, and stepped away to stare at me one last time, and said goodnight as he walked away.

I quickly ran into my room, shutting the doors, placing my hand next to my racing heart. I cant believe that just happened! I thought to myself as I ran over to my bed falling ontop of it, pressing my fingers to my lips, to feel the lingering kiss.

OMGOMGOMG! What did you guys think of this chapter, I loved it! And what was up with Rowan?:) sounds like he knows more then she does! Oh and that kiss with Ergon, shocking right?
