Guy was looking at the clock as he wondered when his boyfriend would come home.
It was really late now and normally his boyfriend Chris would be already home now.
Chris said he would just buy some chocolate and then come home again but seemed he would do something other now.
He was really tired now but he couldn't sleep without his boyfriend there.
So he just waited for him to come back.
One hour later he heard Chris coming home.
Then Chris sat next to him on their couch.
"Hey. Sorry that I'm so late." Chris said.
Guy leaned his head against Chris shoulder, closed his eyes and said:" It's okay. Where were you?"
"I was at Jonny's house. We talked a bit."
"For 3 hours?"
"Yeah. Should we go to bed now?"
"Mmm."
This night Guy couldn't sleep because the first time in this relationship he was jealous.
He was jealous because his boyfriend wanted to talk to Jonny instead of coming home to him.
He tried to close his eyes and just sleep because obviously there was no reason to worry. Chris and Jonny were just best friends, like all band members. But somehow he felt like the connection between Chris and Jonny was just a bit different.
Guy turned on his other side. Then he decided that there was no use in laying awake any longer. As quietly as he could he got up, walked towards the bathroom and splashed some cold water into his face.
Why was he like this? He had never been the type to be jealous, especially with Chris who never gave him a reason to.
So why couldn't he stop thinking that there might be something between Jonny and Chris, after all that time they had known each other?
