Chapter 12|| I ask for another chance

Chiron gave me a look of surprise, his mouth twitched as he tried to decide what to say, he placed his arms on his chest. "Well, um" he thought for a short period, "I will see what I can do, however Omega, I cannot ensure that it will be a happy trip" He says playing with his goatee.

"As long as I can see the gods, I don't mind" I said.

"Very well, I will see what I can do" Chiron smiled, "Okay, well let's get you a place to stay, so seeing that I'm guessing that you aren't demigod's, there's one cabin that is available" He said, "After Percy, left, Poseidon knowing that he didn't have any other kids, offered his cabin to any unclaimed demigod's, or guest"

A pain shot in my chest, my true home had been my cabin, the cabin of my father, he had done something that he knew I'd appreciate, but am I ready to sleep in the same cabin as I had before any of this started.

Hawk and Rebel looked at me, I nodded letting them know that it was okay. "Very well, thank you, Chiron" I smiled.

"Please, let me escort you there and then I will try and get you a meeting with the Olympians" Chiron took a sip from his glass.

"It's fine, I'm sure we can find our own way" I say, "It will help us, get to know this place"

"Very well" Chiron opened the door for us, we walked out nodding a thanks.

We walked out the big house, "We need to set up a base" I say over my shoulder, "I can't spend all my time in that cabin, I'm not ready yet" I can feel the girls stop, I turn to them and see that they've stopped, "Stopping will get us nowhere" I say.

"That story" Hawk started, "I never realized" her voice was sad.

"Don't" I say, "New rule, we don't talk about it, unless we are alone" I hiss. Immaturely Rebel salutes, "Now, let's go we have a lot to do if we are to leave here at any point in time"

We carry walking this time at a hurried pace, we move past the cabins and go deep into the forest, making sure that we aren't being followed, eventually after I am sure that we are deep enough I stop.

"Let's set up here" I order, "it's far enough"

Rebel pulls out a small linen cloth and throws it to the floor. She then says the word and a tent begins to form, unlike the ones here, each different colored linen turns into something different, this linen piece was orange meaning that it would change into a headquarters of sort, depending how we used it. I didn't wait another second, I unzipped the door and went in, with this tent it holds an illusion, it looks small enough for a child's play tent but inside its like, all the cabins put together, it's pretty big and spacious.

The black wooden floors creaked under my footsteps, screens sat on desks along with fluorescent lights hanging on the ceiling. This specific tent was used normally during a war where we'd plan attack strategies, but instead it will be used to come up with fight technics for the campers and a monitoring device for around the world for any face recognition for Annabeth.

"Hopefully, I will have my meeting with the Olympian council tomorrow, so today we need to split the campers in groups to find out what weaknesses need to strengthening" I say, taking off my cape and throwing it over a nearby chair.

"Surroundings have been tested, your lungs can now adapt to the air, this helmet may be removed"

Not waiting any longer I took off my helmet, as did Rebel and Hawk. Chaos was right, the oxygen immediately felt foreign to my lungs, I began to cough as I adapted to the oxygen for a few moments, Rebel and Hawk, their moments weren't so few.

"Was camp always like this?" Hawk asks in between coughs.

"No, the last time it was separated like this was before the fight against Kronos" I say, "Chaos, hasn't sent us here to help with training, he's sent us, me, here to repair all that's wrong" I realize.
