*Elsa*
"Come on Elsa! I wanna build a snow man!" Anna tugged relentlessly on my black cloak. I sighed, tugging on my gloves even though they could not go any further down my hands.
"Ok. Let's go."I sighed. Anna squealed and grasped my hand and tugged me out the door to the stretch of powdery snow. My hand stretched temptingly to my braided hair coiled in a bun, but I quickly let it fall to my side, flouncing helplessly in my storming blue skirts. I watched as Anna threw herself face first into the snow, giggling. Anna's braided red hair flew wildly in the blustering wind, peeking out from a warm bonnet pulled close round her head. She wore a deep purple dress, purple mittens, and a warm, turqouise cloak. I looked down at my own dress. It was deep blue with dancing silver patterns. I traced them delicately.
"Come on, Elsa! Lets make a snow man!" I dropped to my knees and began to help Anna build the bottom of her snow man. I suddenly heard a whistle from the direction of the woods.I looked up, trying to keep the smile from my face.
"i'll be right back, Anna. Don't move."
"Elsa!" Anna whined. I ignored her and stood. Unable to hold my excitement in any longer, I raced towards the woods. once I had disappeared into the cover of the woods, out of Anna's sight, I slowed, worming my way through the dark icy woods. I finally came to a small clearing and there, on the stump, was my best friend, his white hair glistening, his frosty blue eyes shimmering beautifully.
"Jack." My voice cracked slightly. the boy stood, and I ran forward allowing myself to be scooped up in his arms and twirled in a circle, snowflakes spinning around us in a delicate dance. He finally set me down, taking my hands in his. he carefully removed the gloves and we entertwined our fingers.
Ice laced around our hands and fingers, shimmering in the early morning's light filtering its way through the tree tops. Jack pulled away, shattering the cool casing, and touched my face. I smiled as a beautiful icy pattern rose on my cheek for only a few moments. I reveled in its crisp coolness. I smiled and loosened the clasp of my soft cloak. Jack is the only one with whom I can be my absolute self.
"Accident count?" he voiced quietly in his sweet, clear voice. I closed my eyes and imagined it dancing on the air, like little notes made of ice, but as light as snowflakes. I opened my eyes and replied.
"One shattered vase, um, accidentally broke a few hairs off of Sven's back," Sven is Kristoff, the stable boy's pet reindeer. The poor thing let out such a ruckus, I felt terrible. "and..... and I froze my room again." Thats what happens whenever I get stressed out, upset, or scared, everything in my room becomes covered in ice.
Jack smiles at me with understanding in his eyes. He gently gripped me by the shoulders and turned me so my back was to him. with his cold, nimble fingers he undid the bun and let the braid fall down my back.
He grasped my hand and pulled me deeper into the woods. I'm ten, and he's 11, and really normal kids our age wouldn't, shouldn't and couldn't be this far back in the woods, but with our abilities, we learned the woods like the back of our hands when searching for solitude.
We finally came to a small alcove of tall bushes, their branches bending into the center. this is where we practice. This is my home away from home.

~Anna~
“Elsa! Elsa! Do you want to build snowmen with me?” I knocked, trying to get my older sister, to get out. She’s been in her room a lot. She doesn’t come out much anymore.
“Go away, Anna” my sister’s muffled voice said.
“why? It doesn’t have to be snowmen!” I said. I used to be really close to my sister, now she seems to be growing distant. She even doesn’t want to play with me anymore. And when we do, she disappears, leaving me with the stable boys, Kristoff and Pitch Black.
“I don’t want to. Just go away.” Elsa’s pleading voice said. Walking away, I headed down the stairs to the backdoor where I met up with my two most only friends in the whole wide world.
“Hey!” the boys said in unison running up to me.
“Is Princess Elsa coming out?” Kristoff asked. I shook my head.
“Can’t she come out just this once? Can’t you do anything about it?” Pitch asked shaking me.
“Get your hands off the princess, Pitch.” Kristoff said grabbing Pitch’s wrist then stepping between me and him. “You and Anna are only 7, and I’m only 9. Do you think any of us have the power to bring her older sister out of her room?”
“Whatever Kristoff.” Pitch muttered. Just then a familiar black cloak caught my attention. My sister, Elsa, was coming! She was outside! I ran to her and hugged her.
“Oh Elsa! I knew you would come.” I felt my sister’s arms around me.
“yeah. I decided to come out for a change.” Elsa gave me a warm smile, then bent down and helped me make the base of our snowman. I too, bent down….to make a snowball. I was always the mischiveious one out of the two of us. Our parents always scolded me for pulling pranks on the servants. I glanced over my shoulder to see if Elsa was looking. Then I stealthly threw it at her…..Oops! It hit her butt. I meant throw it at her back. I giggled. I could tell that Elsa was looking at me by the corner of her eyes. Then out of nowhere, she throws a huge snwball at me! I toppled over. The cold, wet snow melted on my deep purple dress. I saw Kristoff and Pitch running to me.
“Are you alright?” Kristoff asked while helping me up. He ever so delicately brushed the snow off my turquoise cloak and braids.
“Thanks.” I said blushing.
“No problem, Princess Anna.” I frowned at the sound of my title.
“Call me Anna. Princess is too bleh.” A smile beamed from Kristoff’s face. At the corner of my eye, I saw Pitch’s face grow dark and sour. His fists were clenched. He seemed to generate this sense of fear. I looked around. Elsa was gone.
“Elsa! Elsa!” I shouted. Where in the world is she? I ran back to the castle. Checking everything inside and out. There’s only one more place where she could run, the one place I didn’t check: the Cimmerian Woods.
