Bark. Bark. Bark. Bark. Bark.
"Mollie!" Diana yelled her little dogs name, hoping it would stop. But it didn't. And that wasn't her dog.
"Ugh, no not again," she yawned moving out of bed. Yup, just as suspected; not her dog - yet not an anonymous one. That's Bobby, Olivia's dog.
"No, no, no," she groaned as she made her way to her phone to check her messages. Only three. One from Jen, another friend, asking if she wanted to go to the mall with her. Not exactly in the mood, she thought sarcastically.
The second and third was from Liv - as expected.
'Had to run... Got some things to do! fill yah in laterrr ;)' she read, rolling her eyes before even looking at the second one. 'Oh and movie night was awesome :D look after Bob for mehh xx'
Wow! It was a month into summer vacation and they finally had their day off to go to the beach... And she bailed. Leaving her little dog! Yes, they had a sleep over and movie night and yes, she just had to bring her dog with!
Just as she was about to eat some breakfast, her phone vibrated again. Olivia. 'Ohh annnnnd...cover for you bestest person in the whole wiiiiiiiide world tomorrow at work? :)'
*THE NEXT NIGHT*
"So," Liv started, almost looking guilty - well she sure as hell should be. Her best friend just glared at her. "Tell me about your day yesterday. Any...cute boys? Celebs?" she asked trying to break the ice. They were at her house and Diana just arrived.
"I should ask you the same thing," Diana just smiled sarcastically. "Well I asked first," Olivia grinned, looking exited to tell her story. "Well? Are you planning on giving me that funny glare all night?!" she asked seriously - for once.
"Okay fine," she broke with a smile. "But it involves two words... And I'm pretty sure you're gonna end up being mad at me," Diana said. "Wow, me too!" This was gonna be easier that she thought.
"Uhm, okay- Well, anyway, so I think you're gonna regret that you missed yesterday morning," she said with an unreadable expression on her face.
"So you know that hot british/irish boy band you were exaggerating about?" she asked, hoping Liv already got it. "Well, I kinda met them. Sort of. The one with the curly hair - Harry - and Louis first noticed me throught my butt and that was disturbing, but they wouldn't stop staring-"
"No shit, well I- What?!" Liv interrupted Diana before she even realized what she was saying. "One... Direction?" she asked.
"No, the other direction, of course One Direction!" she laughed. "Are you mad yet?" she smirked. "Not quite," Liv answered shocked. "Uhm, so, what did they talk about?" she stuttered.
"Urgh, well mainly just that auditions and how much it sucked that they had to cancel their L.A. vacation for it," she answered effortless. "They lost their opening band."
"Uh, okay. Shocker!" Liv never was the best actor. "Well, you know, there's something I have to tell you-" Liv got interrupted by a ringing phone - it was Diana's. "Listen Di," she began again, bit was shushed. Diana answered.
"Hello? Yes, this is she," she answered into the phone. "You wanted to congratulate me personally? Huh? Uhm, sorry, but I don't know a Paul Higgings... Sir? No. Are you sure? Well-" the phone got swiped out of her hand.
"Hello, this is Olivia. Yes, sir. Yes. She's just a little confused. Yeah... Thank you. Yes, thanks. 'Bye," she answered sweetly. What the...
"What was that?" Diana asked. "What I've been trying to tell you! You see... Uhm, I," she stuttered. "Why are you stuttering?" Diana asked. "You only stutter when you're nervous."
