Chapter 2

*Libby's POV*

As me and Lyndsey walked onto the large space we both looked at each other before we turned to look at the audience, and of course the judges. The four people sat broadly in their seats with an extra 1000 eyes watching us. I tried to figure out who the fourth judge was but I couldn't see much with all the light shining in my face.

The Fourth judge was the one who spoke. "So what's your name?"

I spoke first. "Teenage Avenue" My voice shaky at times.

"Alright, and you're both 16 right?" He spoke.

Me and Lyndsey both said it at the same time. "Yeah" We laughed a little before the judge told us that we could start the song. I let go of Lyndsey's back as she let go of mine, we  looked at the technicians to start the music. I gripped my microphone harder bringing it to my mouth as we both sang in harmony.

So your friend's been telling me

I'm not doing much better

We finished the song singing to each other, I hugged Lyndsey and she hugged beck, the crowd were all applauding us, two judges stood up too. It took a while for the room to become moderately quiet again, Simon started talking first.

"You know what, I think this is what this show needs, I'd love your connection with each other and you really want this, it really shows in your performance. I think you could be really successful in this competition." He said as the crowd all cheered along with him.

"I agree with my little Simon over there, you could do really well and I want you in my group."Sharon screeched.

"Should we vote?" Simon asked over the crowd.

"Lets" Sharon called.

Simon looked at the sheets on the table, whiles fiddling with the pen in his hand. "Look girls this is easy, it's a yes."

Louis walsh leaned across closer the the microphone. "It's a yes, this could be such a good act and you have a lot of potential."

Shannon flicked her eyes at us."Of course it's a yes from me.Well done." The crowd cheered.

"What about you Mr.Tomlinson?"Simon laughed.

"look girls, I know how hard it can be to stand up there-" The crowd cheered intererupting his speech. He turned around to look at them. "Alright, alright, let me finish" He laughed." And I know you have alot to look forward to because i'm giving you your fourth yes. See you in the next round. well done"

We both sreeched hugging one more time, I think I might of felt a tear.

"Finally" I thought.
