I was sitting in Homeroom, and suddenly I heard Ms. Katz say "Lily, can I speak to you?" "Oh no," I thought.
"Coming," I screamed across the room.
As I got out of my chair, I scurried to Ms. Katz's desk. I could see her face in dissatisfaction. "So, I did overhear that you cut Math Class on Wednesday, Oct. 14th. Sadly, I do have to send you to The Dean, where usually you'll get detention. I am shocked because you are such a wonderful student, I thought that you would never have to be stuck in The Dean's office being lectured."
"Uhhhhh," I whined as my cheeks reddened like tomatoes.
