why havent i left yet?
its a question i ask myelf quite a lot these days. its also a question im sure many other people would be asking if they really knew you.
you dont love me the way i love you. we have such different hearts. i wish i would keep that in mind. you leave and return like the ocean to the shore, like its natural. i feel i could never hurt you the way you hurt me. i could give you a light even the sun would envy. but youve found moonlight and while its out of reach i know your stubborn ass will continue reaching and reaching until your arms grow too wary to reach any longer. if you begin to feel dark, know ill be here to fill you back up, waiting for you to come home. and if you build a home out of her moonlight instead, ill simply thank you for stopping by, for while youre gone- the memories will stay with me forever. i would still do anything for you. if you want me to go? ill run. if you want me closer? ill intertwine with your bones.
i will always be home waiting for you,
whether you return or not.
