Jasper's P.O.V.

"Good morning June." I greeted my sleeping sister, waking her from her slumber.

"Go ... Away ... " She mumbled to me, shutting her closed eyes even tighter.

"Come on, say it." I said child like, the way we used to talk when we were kids. I yanked open the curtains to let the new days light shine through.

"Say what?" She hissed now covering her eyes with her pillow.

"Oh, you know..." I chuckled as I tickled her until she opened her eyes to fight me.

"Stop! Stop Jasper!" She begged me to stop, "It's too early..." She growled.  So I stopped... eventually.

When I did stop, I waited. Patients is key with my lil sister, Juniper.

She stared at me, and I stared at her back. Twas like we were competing in a starring contest.

I rolled my eyes, then continued to tickle her.

She laughed this time, letting out a cute snort.

So I joined her laughter. She paused, studied my face, and took a deep breath/sigh.

"Morning Loser." She finally greeted me back with those timeless words of hers.

I repeated myself, "Good morning June." She gave me a mornings half smile as she begins to get out of bed.

I made my way to her door, opened it, and then turned to say one last witty thing to her, before I had to put on my game face for the day, "Better make hast, you wouldn't want me to flunk you on the first day of school, would you?"

She only looked to me and replied, "Oh, shut up..."

I closed the door and started down the stairs to the kitchen. I put a k-cup in the coffee maker and grabbed an Apple.

'Well Mr. O'Brien, if you are to be a teacher, you better eat like one.' I told my self, feeling a bit of personal achievement.

I honestly can't believe this is the day! I've worked so hard to get here in my life. In fact, I skipped a year of high school just to get here faster. Heck, I've practically proved all those foul teachers, that my dream was possible.

Wait intill they see me walk in those doors, not as student Jasper... But as teacher Mr. O'Brien.

'Ha!' I humored myself. But to be honest... I'm terrified. But I'll put on the cool teacher vibe, cause that's what I want to be remembered by. And that I will be remembered by.

Juniper's P.O.V.

"Oh, shut up..." I said, with a pinch of disgust. As he shut the door on his way out.

I am proud of him... But I'm not exactly looking forward to him being my teacher. I honestly have no idea of what to expect this year.

My phone buzzed, and I picked it up to read the text message from my friend Bea.

"I think I'm going to barf."

That was all it said, and I chuckled at the thought of her staring at my brother -as focused as she can be- but yet, still failing chemistry.

Bea has only ever liked one guy in her her whole life. Who you may ask? My only brother, Jasper. And now, suddenly he's going to be her new high school chemistry teacher. I laugh at that thought everytime.

Bea is shy, so I doubt Jasper will even notice her in the back of the class. Let alone give the four year age difference a second thought.

The clock was ticking as I scrambled around my room and closet for something cute, but comfortable, clean, and 1st day of school ready. But in my closet a shirt with all 4 qualities Is impossible to find...

So I settled with some black fitted sweat pants (from pink) and a plain whitish blue shirt. I slipped into my light blue vans and skipped down stairs.

I smelt coffee.

I turned the corner to see my brother studying an Apple...

'Oh, brother...'

"Are you making coffee?" I asked.

"Yup. I've decided it's worth a second try." He answered me with a grin.

"Why, you look surprised?"

I shrugged. I didn't want to be the gloom to his morning by bringing up the true reason why he doesn't like coffee.

"Want some?" He asked me, and I nodded.

With much time to spare, we rushed to his car.

"Great! Just Great! I'm going to be late on the first day." He says frustrated.

"Jasper, we have 27 minutes to be there. And it only takes 13 to get there." I tried to calm him down with reasoning with him. But no... That doesn't work on Mr. O'Brien...

He only looked at me with disapproval, while starting his Jeep Wrangler.

I threw my hands in the air for surrender from his glare.

And we were off, to both of our first day of school.
