I drove up to the school, parked, then looked over to June.

I sarcastically sighed, loud enough for her to here me.

She paused from tapping on her phone, and looked at me.

"Your gonna do fine, Jasper." She said sounding confident but a bit annoyed.

"Yah, I know." I replied with a grin and a shrug.

"Hey, don't forget It's my first day, too." June reminded me, though I already knew that.

"Yah, Yah... But your head is somewhere else, right now."

"My head? To what are you referring to?" She asked sounding offended.

I opened my door and grabbed my lunch, binders, and clipboard.

"Summers over June. Get your head in the game." I replied with more of a warning then an answer. But the last thing I want to worry about is June not graduating... I know her grades... But most of all, I know her.

I shut the door behind me and made my way into the crowds of teenagers.

Cheers.

"Summers over June. Get your head in the game." Jasper warned. He made his exit and disappeared into the crowds of my fellow peers.

"Jerk..." I said under my breath as I considered - for a second - Jaspers words.

He WAS right. I'll never tell him... But he was right.

Vince was on my mind, not school. Vince and I are over, but he doesn't want to believe it.

Now my only worry is, not knowing when I'll run into him when I'm lost in the crowds.

No one knows about Vince... Not even Bea.

'What if? What if he hurts me again?'

First period went well, I think Miss Furtle and I can learn to get along. That is, if she doesn't make me wright an essay.

As for second period, that's a different story... I hate math. Not because it's math, but because I don't comprehend it.

She made us all take a placement test, to see who of us are more 'advanced' then the others. Not to mention, She doesn't even try to use our actual names.

Third period was French. I guess Mrs. Loui refuses to teach in English and only will speak English to her students when conversing with them privately, one-on-one. So French should be a breeze.

Not.

4Th and 5th period I'd consider free time, 4th is a 45 minute lunch and 5th is fortunately a free/study period. So I'll have almost 2 hours, everyday to myself for the rest of the school year.

Thankfully, I have the same lunch as Bea and Toddy.
So I got my lunch and started towards them.

"June! Over here!" Toddy yelled out to get my attention. I smile at her from across the cafeteria.

When I finally made it through all the rude pushing and shoving of my peers, I stood over my two friends.

"Sit with us Juniper?" Bea asked, noticing I was hesitant to sit.

"No, girls were not doing this again, are we?" I replied with a question.

"Well... Its easier to eat at a table, plus we're closer to the food from here vs the courtyard." Toddy answered hoping I would give a little.
