In the end, everybody wants to be loved in some shape or form. Everybody does it even though they know that their love can easily turn toxic. It's a poison, you take small doses and little by little- you can't see it harming you.
That's what makes this toxic so special. You feel like you are on a constant high. Days seem brighter and life is just so much more fun.
But then when love finally leaves, when happiness leaves, when your peace of mind leaves- you are left with an empty shell. Desperately trying to find something to fill it, anything. And as you fill yourself with little nothings and the little lies you tell yourself to the brim, it all comes pouring out. Finally... you cry. You realize nothing can replace that toxic you desperately needed, that nothing can make you more happier, that nothing can make you enjoy life even more, that nothing can make you feel more loved...
Truly, everybody wants to be loved.
"I'm sorry for smothering you, my love."
