(Your POV)

"Here's the Gryffindor common room," Percy Weasley, the Gryffindor Prefect, said showing us the way to our common room. "Right side the girls' dorm, left side the boys'. Any questions?"

A girl shove up her hand and asked how often we get potion lessons. Well it kinda tells you on your timetable, I thought to myself, rolling my eyes.

"Roughly 2 or 3 times a week," Percy replied. "Now then, I shall leave you guys here. If you want to go to the library please bare in mind that the stairs move." With that said, he left the common room, leaving most of us confused. I was the first to run up to the girls' dorm.

"Why hello," a girl with brown/brunette hair greeted, looking up from her book.

"Um.... Hi?" I said, more as a question than a greeting.

The girl chuckled and introduced herself, "I'm Hermione Granger. Nice to meet you."

"Hermione Granger?" I asked her to confirm, getting out the note I got that was in red paper.

"Yup! Did you like the idea of the enchanted butterfly? It was my idea," she said.

"Thanks, I'm-"

"Y/N Malfoy. I know."

"Oh yea of course."

She smiled and asked if I wanted to meet the other two. I agreed then she escorted me to the library where they're "studying".

"B3 move to B5," the ginger-haired boy commanded one of his pawns. The pawn broke the opponent's pawn, the gingered-haired boy's opponent is a raven-black haired one with glasses and a lighting-like scare on his forehead. Has he been cursed?

The boy with glasses looked up and smiled at us.  "Hi Y/N!" He greeted.  I blushed slightly.  Why am I blushing?  It's not like I find him cute or anything.

"H-hi," I greeted back, timidly.  Not how I expect this!

The ginger boy looked up as well, now facing us and smiled.  "Why 'ello there," he said.

"This is Ron," Hermione said, gesturing to the ginger boy, "and this is Harry." She gestured to the brown boy, who nodded as his name was mentioned.

"It's an honour for you to join Gryffindors, Y/N," Harry said, smiling.

"I don't really think the others agree on that," I said, looking down to the floor.

"Well they're always like that.  It's the same with Ron," Hermione said, glaring at Ron when she said the last part.

"But she's a Malfoy!" Ron exclaimed.

"That's true but that doesn't mean she would act the same as him.  However," Harry started saying, looking at me not so sure.

"I'm not like Draco!" I exclaimed.  Fine I look like him but I'm not like him.  I'm not a female version of him.

"We guessed that's why the Sorting Hat said Gryffindor.  I think it took both Harry and Malfoy by surprise and brought both them out of their sockets," Hermione chuckled.

"Not funny, Hermione," Harry groaned.

"But it is funny!" Ron laughed.

I walked to the Great Hall for dinner with Hermione, talking about potions and spells on our way.
Hermione stopped on her track, glaring at someone in front of her. I looked up at the direction and saw......

"Malfoy!" Hermione growled. "What are you doing here on the Gryffindor Table?"

"Can't I talk to my sister a bit?" Malfoy said, glaring back but his eyes soften as he noticed me. "Hey Y/N. You doing alright so far?"

I nodded, nudging Hermione to quit her glaring. She did but the hatred didn't leave her eyes. I sighed. "I'm doing fine Draco.  Go back to your table before you get told off."

"But s-"

"I said. Go. Back." I glared at him, death in the eyes. "Now." He gulped then nodded, heading for the Slytherin table. I returned back to my normal stance and went to sat down on the Gryffindor table.

"Whoa that was something," Hermione said, looking at me surprised.

"Well I am his sister so....."

"Good point."

After we all settled down a bit, Professor Dumbledore said a few things then let us eat.

"So how you liking Gryffindor, Y/N?" Harry asked.

"Oh well it's better than I expected," I replied.  Which is true since both my parents are from Slytherin, I kinda expect the other houses to be the worse since that's how they describe it.

"Well whatever you heard, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff is better than Slytherin House," Ron said to me. "However, Gryffindor is the best house ever!"

"I am not surprised a Weasley would say that," I admitted with a light chuckle.

"Well at least you didn't call me Weasel."
