After meeting up with Coby, he had given you a gift before leaving it was a vivre card which Ace told you he wanted to burn. But once you got back to the ship you'd hide it some where he couldn't find it.
"Don't hook up with him (Y/N), cause if you do and I find out then there's gonna be alot of trouble" Ace told you.
You just rolled your eyes and sighed.
"You're not my dad"
He paused for a split second before turning to you.
"No I'm not but he's a marine and you know how they are"
"But he's different"
"How do you know that?"
You stopped in your tracks before crossing your arms and glaring at him.
"Stop talking to me I don't want to hear it anymore, walk back to the ship without me" You told him angrily.
"Fine. See if I care" Ace stormed off before setting a couple of things on fire on his way.
You furrowed your brows in anger.
"Well if he wants to be like that, I won't talk to him at all" you said to yourself before walking the opposite direction back into town.
30 minutes later
You had ended up with bags full of ice cream for that night so you could eat your stress away.
10 minutes later
You were in the ships kitchen eating a full tub of (Fav Flavor) (F/F) ice cream on the kitchen bench with just a (F/C) oversized shirt and (F/C) socks. Marco walked in and his eyes widened.
"Oh (Y/N) hello"
"Hi Marco"
"Feeling stressed?"
"Yeah how'd you know?"
"You have a habit of buying unnecessary amounts of ice cream and eating it all in one go when you're sad or angry"
"ITS NOT UNNECESSARY!"
Marco only shook his head and opened the cupboard to look for a snack. You sighed out loud angrily before hopping off the bench with your tub of (F/F) ice cream and walking out onto deck.
"No one understands"
You said as you looked at the sunsetting among the ocean.
"I wonder if they have ice cream that looks like a sunset.."
You asked yourself as you took a scoop of ice cream out of the tub and ate it. Just as you were wondering about ice cream in the corner of your eye you noticed a familiar figure come to stand beside you and watch the sun melt into the ocean.
What's he doing here..go away before I stab you with my spoon, I was here first Ace, get your own spot.
You thought in your head as you squinted your eyes out of annoyance and slowly ate your ice cream.
"(Y/N-
You turned away and walked off before he could say anything else and went to another spot to watch the sun set.
" Baka.."
You continued to eat your ice cream to cool off after he made you leave your spot.

It only took a few minutes for Ace to come back and try to speak to you but that only gave him the same outcome as before. For that whole afternoon he didn't stop trying to talk to you before you locked him out of the kitchen that Marco was no longer in. Which resulted in a bunch of crew mates having to go into town to get dinner for the night. Your ice cream was in the fridge so you had to lock yourself in there.
Ace was still at the door asking for entry that you kept denying.
"(Y/N) let me in!"
".........."
"I'm hungry!"
".............."
"Don't ignore me!'
You were laying on the table listening to his yelling and arguing, you were on your third tub now and probably gonna blow up. You made an explosion noise and used your hands to act out the explosion and screaming.

" noooo my stomach"
"See (Y/N) this is what happens when you buy unnecessary amounts of ice cream"
"no Marco this is what happens when you keep saying that"
You then act out Marco's head exploding as you die with those last words.
Suddenly you snapped out of your acting and back into reality where now it sounds like Ace is trying to pick the lock on the door. Your eyes widen as you quickly sit up and grab a small thin knife out of the kitchen drawer and slowly walked to the door before proceeding to stick it inside the key hole, while shaking it around everywhere inside so it broke the bobby pin he was using. To your amazement it worked, you could tell by his grunting and swearing.
"I'll be back.."
Ace said before leaving.
