Its been almost a year since my meeting with Yukiino and since this whole thing started. I managed to learn ICE DRAGON MAGIC: CERO to a certain degree where i could at will shoot down targets, bullseye everytime, happiness.
Master also started to teach me other spells but would not until i had meditated and succeeded in my training for my first spell. The second spell he decided i was ready for was about 7 months ago on my birthday in july, i decided to use my other worlds birthdate since i didnt know this one.
As a gift Yukiino said he would teach me a special spell, who said ice couldnt be warm, Master called it Alpha magic not one specified for Ice dragons only but all dragons a like, it was a spell used between dragons to force dominance upon each other ether to form a barish, a sort of pack, of dragons or to woe or force a mate into submission.
The spell could only be used in a fight against 2 dragons sometimes more , depending on ones level of magic. Taking us to a forest filled with wild creatures Yukiino showed me that i could also use it to make other creatures respect you, so facing a pack of wolves Master leveled himself into a fighting position and to my astonishment a moment later he began to slightly growl and all the wolves where kneeling before him.
Badass.
After which of course the pack became loyal towards Yukiino and would also allow me to pet and play with them. I had spent hours of endless running and play fighting with the adult and cub wolves before which Yukiino called me to attention "Inari, are you ready to begin?" turning my head to him from where i sat, petting a grey cub, i began to stand determination set in my action and knodded. Yukiino took this as a sign and knodded back begining his lesson "to announce dominance one must trust ones self and ones abilitys, the spell will not work if you dont believe in yourself" looking me straight in the eyes i could not help but to look down in guilt, he knew i never really had much faith in myself despite my hertics and bullheadedness.
After realising it was now or never to face this demon i clenched my fists at my sides before whipping my head up to look at the feirce dragon with an equally fierce gaze " good now remember that feeling because that is step one of this spell, the second step requires one to release a type of pheromone consiting of ones magical energy" knodding to signal for him to continue he turned his head to look to his side as if in a world of his own searching for the right words " normally this requires months of meditation but since you have been meditating since the beginning of your magic release, when we began your training" looking back at me he gazed straight into my eyes "you should have no problem with this" he continued his lesson by explaining that most would unknowling give off this pheremon which humans mistakingly called their auras "the color of ones aura also shows ones level of control of magic" understanding more or less of what he was trying to say I knodded and then closing my eyes i imagined a type of light which i saw oozing outwards hoping this was my magic and not just my imagination.
Peaking with my one eye too see if anything was changing which by the reaction Yukiino was giving me and at the sight of one of the cubs scratching behond his ear as if the world was blind, i sighed heavely before sitting down to full concentrate on my meditating fully closing my eyes i though of nothing but releasing my magic, which sounds easy but really how do you do it.
As if seeing me struggle Yukiino decided to give me a better explanation "you will know when you feel it" listening closely to his honey voice i continued to meditate searching for a feeling which would prove my success "an empty feel will wash over your chest as if you've been drained, this is normal in the beginning but over time you will learn how to control the amount of magic release" dont wanna kill any little woodland creatures out of fright now do we.
It took me a while before i started feeling something in the pit of my stomach "i think i almost got it" grabbing onto the feeling i dug deeper
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr
As if on signal my stomach began to grumble " i dont think thats the feeling i'm looking for" opening my eyes i laced my palms under my crosser legs and smiled up at the dragon " no not quite" was his response. Laughing a little, mostly out of embarrassment while petting the wolf next to me Master decided to suggest that we go fishing as an added bonus to our day "theres a caven nearby, that has a type of fish delicacy, we could try out" with that he lifted me to his head, placing me upong his fur cobered scal head.
As we flew off i waved to our new friends, the pack of wolves howling and running after us as we ascended into the blue sky "i'll try to come see you as soon as i can" waving to them as we left they stopped at the edge of the forest the end of their territory "dont forget me, you hear" it took me a long time to turn from their shrinking figures the fear of abandonment inching into my heart once more, and the pure attachment i've gained from them.
It took us a while to get to the rocky caverns, from above it seemed as if the ground had decided to split in several places "humans often find themselves lost in this place" Master informed me never to enter here with out him before finally descending, as we landed i slipped from his fury head to walk towards the crumbling edge where i came upon...
