After 14 hours and 45mins on the plane Paris was finally insight. I was excited because I had always wanted to go to Paris, but I did not expect it to happen in these circumstances and with Roman. I thought I would come here with my fiancé not my sister's boyfriend.
When the plane finally landed Roman and I got off the plane, went through customs and went to try and find our bags. Before we were stopped because I sent off the metal detecter.
'Madame, avez-vous obtenu métal?' The security guard asked. I did know what he meant something 'Madam, do you have metal on?' As I studied French in middle school. Then I suddenly remembered about my necklace I was wearing. My father gave me this necklace the day he and mum were killed. It was pure gold,my father told, me shaped like the UN building in New York. He also said never to take it off or give it to anyone even people I trust. Since this day it has always being around my neck and I never take it off.
I replied 'oui mon collier' meaning 'Yes my necklace'.
The security guard simply said 'Merci' and walked away.
Roman and I then walked over to collect our bags. I had this strange feeling of being watched, but it was just the camera's around the building.
Outside there was a car waiting for us to take us to the hotel.
When we got to the hotel is was so beautiful. Grand pillars at the front in white marble and inside gorgeous drapery and interior design.
When I got to my room, I sat on the bed and thought about what the male voice told me on the phone.
'You will figure it out'
Deep into my thoughts a hand touched my shoulder. It made me jump off of the bed. It was only Roman.
'Are you ready for dinner?' He asked.
'Yeah, I guess. Where are we going?' I inquired.
'It is a surprise'
'You know I hate surprises.'
'I know that is why I did it' he said with a smile on his face a smile I have never seen before.
