"Legacy?" asked a rushed concerned feminine voice.
I was struck with curiosity with the familiar voice, but misplaced. I whirled around and stopped dumfounded at the sight in front of me. It was her. The last person I would expect to see. Gypsey. "Gypsey?" I asked more to myself in disbelief wondering if I was hallucinating.
I shuffled across the lobby to the pool towards Gypsey. Her face lighted up making me feel warm inside and she ran to me and jumped and hugged me with her whole body. I hugged her back and reveled in the feel of her. What seemed like a half hour I asked in a whisper into her "What are you doing here and how?"
She pulled her head back to look at me. "I couldn't wait anymore to see and be with you so I flew up here and will be staying here until we leave." She said with sparkling eyes and a beautiful smile.
It brought such a huge smile to my face that it felt like my smile was larger than my own head. "I am glad you came I have had a tough time waiting, and I can't believe that you came. It's like a dream come true." I murmured excitedly to her so only she could hear. I then pushed her head back into my chest and gave her another hug making sure it was her.
My ears then focused back to my surrounds bringing me back to where I was. I could hear the other guys on the swim talking about my girl and I. Then the cold of the snow on Gypsey's winter jacket made my realize that I was only in my speedo.
Despite the cold, I was reluctant to let her go in fear of her disappearing, but I let her down to her own feet and took her hand instead. "Let's leave." I told her. Standing there refusing to take my eyes off the sight of her I yelled at the guys distantly, "I gotta go, see yeah guys later."
Forgetting that I was only in my speedo I lead her outside to the car. When I opened the pool's door I froze and quickly closed it again. Facing my Gypsey I sheepishly said, "Maybe I should change first."
Gypsey laughed and replied, "Yeah you should. Hurry. I will wait here for you."
Stepping away from her felt like I was ripping myself apart. I hurried to the locker room and heard my teammates yelling at me as I rushed to change. It was the fastest I had ever changed. I ran to the lobby feeling a need to get to her as soon as possible and was relived when I saw her still stand there. Taking her hand I announced, "Now we can leave."
We left and went to my house. Well it was more like my parents since I was living with them. She moved into my room with me and thankfully it was clean. We caught up on each other since the last time we talked. She fell asleep in my arms on the couch. I didn't want to go to sleep for the fear of her not being here when I woke. With her in my arms I felt complete and then sleep claimed me.
_-_-_-_-_-
Couple weeks later I returned to swim, because of all the crap I was getting from guys. This time though I wasn't going alone. I had convinced Gypsey to swim with me. We swam and goofed off for a while. Telling her I would be back shortly I got out and went to the bathroom. When I returned my blood boiled hotter then I thought possibly.
I found Wyatt trying to give something to Gypsey and her glaring at him with her arms crossed. I stormed up up to them and pushed Wyatt away from her and stood in between them and nearly shouted out Wyatt, "What the fuck do you think your doing?"
He shrugged, "I don't know what your talking about."
I glimpsed at the paper and my voice raised some more, "What the hell is that?" Then I noticed the numbers on the paper. They were for a phone number. That fucking bastard. I glared at him so hard that I expect to have laser vision like superman and it to tare him apart.
Fuming I took Gypsey home. Later I apologized to her for being really possessive of her.
