Jamie's Life
"Good Morning!" I greeted my parents cheerfully. "Morning." they replied in a gloomy way. Let us just say I am not the best daughter in the world. I looked at the clothes that was ready for wearing and immediately took a bath excited for today. So excited that I slipped, it hurt my leg and left a little pain.
Why? First day of school. I know everyone hates school but lets just say I enjoy studying and having new friends. To avoid being in and noticed in the house.
I am a transfer in this school called Oxford International School. I already transferred school 5 times due to some reasons.
It was 6:20 am. I used the bus in going to school cause my dad doesn't want me in his car. Feeling the pain on my leg. I reached school at 6:30 am wanting to be early. I guess I got there too early. Classes starts at exactly 7:00am. So I just went to my assigned locker and fixed my things in there.
The bell rang and went straight to my classroom. I am in room "9 A" the room for the 3rd year high school students.
The teacher went in and to be honest she is not strict, she is lively, fun to listen to and she has gorgeous golden brown eyes, curved body, and blond long hair. She is probably in the early twenties. The boys were drooling on their desk just looking at her.
We started introducing ourselves. "Good Morning, I am Jamie Jimenez, fifteen, and I live just nearby here. I have two brothers. One is four years older than me and one is six years younger than me." I introduced formally.
Everyone was done introducing. The teacher left. Letting us to talk to others and be friends with them.
Suddenly, I felt a finger touched my back and "Hey!" the person said. I turned immediately noticing the familiar voice. "Melody?" I said surprisingly shocked.
She wore black converse with white stripes, white sleeveless shirt with black and white sleeveless jacket with a hoodie and shattered black jeans. Her eyes is silver like metal. Her hair is as white as snow that reaches up to her shoulder. She looks like a pop star which she was. Well not a pop star but sings and acts like a pop star.
She is my best friend when I was still in third grade but I haven't seen her since I left the country. Nothing really changed in her appearance. She is still popular. Boys and girls. Young and old.
Nobody really noticed me until Melody talked to me. After Melody talked to me every single eyes in the room turned to me. I pretended not to notice but their glares hurt that my whole body is already full of holes.
After classes already. That was fast.
I dropped my books cause a guy suddenly asked me "Are you Melody's friend? Can you PLEASE introduce me to her PLEASE?" He asked begging like a man who has nothing to eat. "I'm just a childhood friend. I have never seen her since the 3rd year of my grade school." I answered not wanting someone to be friends with me who just needed to be introduced to someone I know. Without me looking at his face picking up my books that fell on the ground. Together with me walking away the moment I said that.
But he suddenly grabbed my arm before I could get away from him. "Sorry I just want to be friends." The same man said. "Friends?" I asked curiously. "Yeah. Friends." He said. "What for?" I asked confused. "You looked interesting." he said. " Only if you buy me ice cream." I said testing him if he really wanted to be friends with me. He agreed by grabbing my arm to the cafeteria. He bought me chocolate ice cream. I was staring at the ice cream he is holding surprised he actually bought me ice cream. My favorite flavor as well.
While eating the ice cream. He walked home with me. Well he didn't really walk me home, he followed me home. His always excuse was "this is my way home."
"Elijah Brent." he started the conversation.
"Jamie Jimenez."
"I know."
"What? How? Why?" Why does he know? Is he stalking me.
"Your the newbie."
"Oh" For a second I thought he was stalking me. "Well this is my house."
"So this is it?"
"Yeah. Goodbye"
"See you tomorrow."
Our schedule is like a copy. Totally the same. TOTALLY the SAME. Knowing that we would be seeing each other I decided to say "See you."
He walked away in the same direction we were heading and realized that his way home was really that way.
That was my first day. This is really going to be an interesting year.
