I got out of the car to get my stuff from the back seats. "Why don’t you sign in and get settled while I go and order a pizza and rent a movie?" As I opened the door to the back seat, I replied in a flat tone "Yeah, just hurry." I could hear her sigh while she opened the back seat door to the other side of the car to take out her zebra purse she had thrown in when she got into my car. "I don't understand why you have to leave, I’ve known you sin-" I looked up at her to read her face, it was full of misery. I knew I was the one who always helped her through every break up, her crap math homework, and what not. I put my bag down along with my purse and walked over to the other side of the car. I loved her with all my heart, I mean; she's practically my twin sister.

I let her rest her head on my shoulder as I gently patted her back. It hurt to see Ashely like this, but she knew this wasn't my choice. After about 5 minutes she ran her two index fingers across the bottom of her eyes so the mascara and eyeliner wouldn't run.

"I'll go and make sure the desk guy is hot."

"Ashley, I'm with Lance. I'm not going to check out a guy for you."

"Oh, who cares stop being so wussy."

"It's called being loyal, a life skill you need."

"HEY! YOU KNOW THAT TOY ELEPHANT WAS MINE! THAT WAS IN THIRD GRADE! DROP IT!"

I chuckled at the little girl that was within Ashley. I put my hands up in surrender, "Alright. Now, go get our food. Oh, and can you rent The Heat?" She took out her phone to check if the movie was still available. "Yeah, I'm also going to stop buy Cold Stone," before I could tell her my favorite ice cream she cut me off "Cotton Candy with crunch mixed in and a waffle cone, yes I know." She really did know me so well; she took the keys from my hands and walked over to the car that was now, 2 feet away from us. "IF YOU GET PULLED OVER, THAT’S YOUR PROBLEM!" She turned around smirking and said "I'm a better driver than your ass."

As soon as I stepped on the sidewalk to the Hotel doors, the gentlemen greeted me by open doors along with a head nod and smile. I wasn’t sure if Zach, Ashley's favorite, was on duty today but I kept walking towards the front desk anyways. To my surprise, no one was there at all. I felt strong arms wrap around my waist, lifting me up from the ground. "Hello, Miss. Ellies." I grinned recognizing the voice. "Zach!" He put me down and walked over to the other side of the desk; he looked at the computer screen and began typing. "Kicked out again?" I chuckled at his question, "Don't doubt it, you know it's the only reason I'm here." He looked up; he had an upset look on his face, "Not to visit your favorite front dust clerk?" I gave him a flat look in sarcasm. He had a huge crush on me when I was in my sophomore year, he had always been a gentleman even though I rejected his 5 dates he had asked me on.

"Ok you're all signed in, we reinvaded your room and it's now yours!" I was in shock, complete shock! "WOAH! THANKS!" I grabbed my stuff and headed over to the elevators. My room was on the tenth floor, it has an amazing view and it's the only room in the tenth floor, it's more like a house you ask me.

I swiped the card to unlock the door. There is was my future looking house. "HONEY, I'M HOME!!!!" Yeah, I do that all the time... I'm an idiot...

I unpacked all of my, uh, "stuff" then turned on the flat screen. "HUG ME BROTHA!" You can clearly guess what was on, the best T.V. show ever, Drake & Josh. I laughed as the show went on, until I heard the door slam open, "WINTER, I'M HOME!" Oh dear god.

Ashley literally threw the pizza, Hawaiian, at me then put The Heat on the DVR.

"Good movie I pick, eh?"

"You know, Shannon really reminds me of you. Don't you think?"

"I hate you so much, Winter Ellies, so much."

"Shut up, you know you love me."

"You wish."

The movie ended and Ashley looked like she was just come back from a zombie apocalypse. Man, I loved her. I picked up the giant pieces of pizza she threw at the flat screen, because... well, she's Ashley; there isn't really a better reason. I threw the plates and napkins away, then I remembered I forgot to check Lance's message. I ran over to my purse, tucking a layer of blonde hair behind my ear and read the message in a whisper tone.

Hey, babe, dinner tonight? My parent's wanted a reunion since it's been about a month since i last saw you. Miss you, Love you, text me before 8 pm please.

What can I say? I've taught my very own boyfriend to tell me "please" and "thank you" and also be a gentleman. He got the consequences last time, I didn’t reply to any of his texts or phone calls in 10 days. Yet, he loves me, Winter A. Ellies, anyways. I was in love with the fact that he was all mine, his sexy green eyes locking in contact with mine always drove me crazy.

He loved me.

I loved him.

That's all you need to have a good relationship. I state right now, I'm never letting him go. EVER.

I checked the time, 6:30 pm, right on time! I texted him back.

Hey, baby! Miss you lots! I'll totally go to the dinner! I love you so much, my love! ~xx W.A. <3

The fact that he was two years older than me, made me feel safe with him. What can I say? I go for older men. They're more mature than guys my age, 17. Speaking of it, my birthday is in 7 months and 12 days. Today is June 5, 2009; my next birthday is on January 17, 2010. I'm going to turn 18 and my mom will make me do a lot more than just good grades, clean room, and being kicked out. That means I need a job, start to send in my collage applications, and look for a new house.

My mom was strict, but she's always working and since my dad has gone home to god, it's been hard for her the past years. I love her, but damn she needs to chill a bit.

I got another text from Lance! I was smirking before I even opened the message.
