Meow, I'm literally bored in my English class and thought 'Why not update my book in my English class?' I'm still writing, so I'm not off topic or anything like that.... Don't judge me, I bet half of you who are reading this are off topic right now. Yeah, don't judge me if you're doing the same thing which is procrastinating... Um, on to the story? *Was doing this in English*
Naruto's POV
The children looked at Kankuro before hugging him. It took him by surprise by he hugged them back.
"Don't worry about it kiddos. It's not like those memories can affect me." He said, releasing them from the hug. The children looked at him before they turned their attention towards me and Sasuke.
"So what happened afterwards?" Sasuto asked us. I looked at Sasuke who looked at me confused.
"What?" He asked.
"Do you want to explain what happened or..." Sasuke looked at me before turning his head.
"I don't actually know what happened afterwards. Some parts are still fuzzy for me." He said.
"You don't remember Sasuke?" Kiba asked him. "Anything at all?" Sasuke shook his head and suddenly, the atmosphere changed. Sasuke and the children looked very confused at this point.
"Is something wrong?" Sasuke asked me, turning around and looking me straight in the eye. I sighed before looking at the children.
"Go get the other children. You all might want to hear this." I said, my voice filled with sadness. Both Sasuto and Nechi went to get everyone else while Shinchi looked at Shikamaru and Neji.
"Dad, Papa, what happened?" She asked them. They looked at each other before looking at her.
"Let's wait for Uncle Naruto to tell you and everyone else okay." Neji said. Their daughter nodded her head as she sat next to Shikamaru, laying her head on his lap. As we heard the other children walk in, everyone was looking at me and Sasuke. My chin was resting on top of his head as the children returned.
"Sasuto and Nechi said that you guys were going to tell us something?" Mari Lee said in a rude-like tone.
"Mari Lee, don't act rude to them." Ginata told her cousin. Mari Lee looked at her before turning the opposite way.
I sighed when the children all gather round. They looked at me with determination in their eyes as I started the story once more.
I woke up the next day with Sasuke in my arms, his soft raven hair slightly messy. I couldn't help but smile at him. His scent of tomatoes was driving me crazy. Before I fell asleep, I forced myself to leave my bed and carefully moved Sasuke. Looking at him one last time, I smiled to myself and left the room. I walked over to the kitchen to see my mother and Auntie Mikoto cooking some breakfast.
"Morning Mom, Auntie Mikoto," I said as I took a seat at the table. "What is it that you guys made that smells delicious right now?"
"Morning Naruto!" My mother said to me. "Mikoto and I made some eggs and bacon for breakfast."
"I hope Sasuke gets up soon. You two still have school today." Auntie Mikoto said to me.
"I'll go wake him up. I might as well go change into uniform too." I got up from my seat and went back to my room, Auntie Mikoto saying thank you before I entered my room. I saw Sasuke trashing around and whimpering on our bed and I quickly ran to him.
"Sasuke, Sasuke, wake up!" I said as I shook him, desperately trying to wake him up from his nightmare. After shaking him about ten times, Sasuke finally woke up with tears coming down. He engulfed me into a hug as I whispered sweet nothings into his ears and returned his hug. The way Sasuke was hugging me seemed like he was trying to make sure that I was still alive. I let go of him and looked him in the eye. Sasuke looked dead tried, as if whatever was in his nightmare scared the living shit out of him.
"Naruto..." He whimpered. I sighed as I looked at him.
"Sasuke, maybe you should stay home for today and rest." I told him. His eyes were suddenly wide and he was shaking his head frantically.
"No, I'm going to school with you." He told me.
"Sasuke, you look like you got no sleep last night. Just stay home for today and get some rest." I told him as I got up from the bed.
"Naruto, no. I'm going to school with you and you can't say anything about it." Sasuke said as I changed into my uniform. Once I was done, I turned around and sighed once more.
"You're staying here and that's final." I told him. "I'm going to tell your mom and my mom that you're staying here because you need the rest." I walked out the room while Sasuke yelled at me not to do it. Both moms looked at me as I entered the kitchen.
"Did something happen?" Auntie Mikoto asked me. "It seemed like you and Sasuke were fighting."
"Are you two fighting?" Mom asked me. "Things never go well when the two of you fight." She said as we all remembered the last time Sasuke and I fought. It wasn't pretty.
"No, we're not fighting." I told them. "I told Sasuke to stay here and rest because he looked like he didn't sleep at all last night." Both women nodded their heads at me. "I told him I would tell you guys so he wouldn't leave the house and try to go to school."
"Okay," Mom said as she handed me a plate of eggs and bacon. "But you do realize he's not going to be happy about this right?"
"Yeah, I know." I said to her as I dug into my food.
"Why exactly is my son not going to school today?" Auntie Mikoto asked me.
"I think he's getting nightmares again. Something was disturbing him while he was sleeping when I entered the room." I told her when I finished eating my food. "I best be going now."
"Alright dear. We'll call Tsunade and let her know that Sasuke isn't going to school today." Mom said to me.
"Thanks Mom. Bye, I'll see you after school!" I said, grabbing my school bag and leaving the front door. Walking over to school, I saw Sakura, Kiba, Hinata, and Shino at the corner of the street.
"Hey Naruto!" Hinata said as I reached them.
"Hey Hinata, Sakura, Kiba, Shino," I said to them. "Ready for today?"
"No," Kiba said as we crossed the street. "Tetsuki has been texting me all night making sure that nothing happened to me."
"Dang man, what time did you sleep?" I asked him.
"Not until 2 when she finally stopped texting me." He said as he yawned.
"She probably went to sleep." Shino said to him as the rest of us nodded our heads.
"So where's Sasuke?" Sakura asked me.
"Yeah, where is your boyfriend?" Kiba added.
"Currently being watched by his mom and my mom at home." I told them as we entered the school grounds.
"Isn't it suppose to be the other way around?" Kiba asked just as he got tackled into a side hug.
"What's suppose to be the other way around?" Tetsuki asked as all our other friends walked over to us.
"Naruto staying home and Sasuke being here." He said to his girlfriend, kissing the top of her head. "And you don't need to text me every five minutes to make sure I'm still alive and okay."
"Tetsuki," Dachi started. "You need to stop being a worrywart." We all looked at Tetsuki to see she was fake crying.
"Naruto, why isn't Sasuke here?" Shinatara asked while Gaara snaked his arms around her waist.
"Sasuke looked like he needed some rest so I told him to stay home." I said as we all started to walk over to our lockers. "And besides, I don't want him worrying about Tenten right now."
"Speak of the devil." Shikamaru said. We all looked over in the direction he was looking and saw Tenten. She was smiling at us and waved as she entered Kakashi-Sensei's classroom. The bell rung telling us all to move our lazy asses to our classroom.
"Oh how I wish we didn't have Kakashi-Sensei's class right now." I said to him as we walked to the classroom.
"Same here. Troublesome woman."
