It was about the third day and we woke up and got ready. Later on that day I heard my phone ring, it was my grandparents. I answered. " Layla!! I'm am so sorry to tell you this!! But your mom and dad are... are.. Dead!!" I was so speechless I started to cry and Margot asked what was wrong. " My pa.. pa.. parents are dead." I was still balling. " oh my goodness! Well i just got a text that we don't have to go in till Two months so we can go home now." We packed up and left to the air port.
When we got back to Michigan we headed to my grandparents house and I showed her how to get there. "Layla! I missed you so much!" My grandma said. I introduced her to Margot and then we talked about school , we had two more days till school started. I was still super sad. But I knew that I could make it. " what will happen to me, Daniel and Molly?" I asked, " we will have to take care of you." My grandpa said. " MARGOT!!!! Can't you adopt me?" "Umm I don't know." "Its fine as long as you visit us." My grandma replied. " alright. I guess so." We left my grandparents house and went to that one place where you do that kinda stuff and she was able to adopt me. *YAY*
It was the morning of school and I woke up at six in the morning and I got ready. Margots limo came and drove me to school. When we got there everyone was surrounding the limo. "Ok don't tell anything to your friends. Not even about your parents or our movie or about me.But just ask Cooper and then tell him and try to trust him." "Ok I promise, goodbye." I slammed the door and everyone was asking me questions. " why we're you riding in a limo??" " Umm it's personal and I don't wanna talk about it." Then oh great my best friend Malysa walked up to me. " who why we're you in a limo?!?" She asked me. " umm I'd rather not talk about it." " Ok?" We walked into school and went to class and finally fifth hour came around, Cooper was in that class. I sat down and Cooper walked in " Cooper come sit next to me!" I yelled, " ok why?" " in a little bit ask the teacher if you can go to the bathroom. Then I will but meet me in the hallway." "Ok?"
