"Hey, honey, I love you, I trust you, I'll be back in two years. Don't do anything crazy. Don't let these boys ruin you. I also don't want you walking around like a slut." Says my mom while hugging me.
"Mom, you're the most important woman in my life, I love you too. When you're over there, please remember that you have a daughter back home who can't live without you." I say I pull away from the hug and drop a tear.
My mom starts to leave for her plane but turns around and gives me one last look and her mouth syncs, "I love you."
I do the same and we both turn around and go our separate ways.
I get in my car and start to drive back home. I don't put on any music because I just want silence. The only thing I wanna hear is my thoughts, my tear drops, and my sighs.
My mom has left for a no degree two years job in Paris, France. It pays very well and that's why she took the job. My dad was a very rich man. I don't know why he left but I know that when he did he found a way to take everything with him. He left me and my mother poor, no food, no money, just a small house with two rooms, one bath, and one living room. I don't know how my mom worked her way to middle class. Now I'm not poor or rich. But I'm sad now because the only person I share blood with in this world has left, my mother.
When I'm just thirty minutes away from getting home, my phone rings. I take a look at it and it's Brayden. I don't want to answer the phone, I don't want him to know that I'm sad, I don't want him to hear me crying. So I just face my head to the road.

The next day is the day I hate most, Monday, which means school. As always, I get off my bed, take five to six minutes showering, brush my teeth, and put on my outfit. The last thing I do is check my phone. I have two missed calls from Cameron, my boyfriend, and six missed calls from Brayden, my love. I also have six missed calls and messages from Riss.
One of the messages from Riss reads, "Hey girl, where are you? I came by your house and you weren't there."
I quickly just get out the door and leave my house, there is no one to say goodbye to now that my mom is gone.
I get in my car and start driving to school which usually takes me sixteen minutes.
I'm finally there. For me, school is just okay.
"Where the fuck were you. I called you like seven times bitch." Utters Cameron who opens the door for me.
"Where the fuck was I?! Bitch!!?" Okay maybe this is too harsh. "You can't talk to me that way Cameron. You know what? We're done." I respond and smack my car door and walk away.
"Come on Vanessa, I didn't mean to say that." He grabs my arm.
I pull away. "Don't touch me, we're done. I gave you a chance and you've just ruined it."
He groans and drops his binder.
"By the way, you only called me two times." I walk away.
Cameron is a football player I've been dating for one week now. We dated for one month but he cheated on me so we broke up. After that he came around begging for another chance which he has just lost. I didn't date him for any deep feelings. I just dated him hoping that maybe he would be a good guy and put away my feelings for Brayden.
As I walk through the hallway this guy comes up to me and starts thrusting my ass. I push him off over and over but he continues to do it.
Brayden comes along and pulls the guy off of me and starts punching him. The guy punches back and they get into a fight. Being the girl, I try to stop them but they don't stop.
