The first phase is playing follow the leader?

"Follow me." Was the last thing he said before taking off and I weaves through people to the front before falling back perposefully and grinned as he looked at me. I fell back to gon and his friends. I watched as a head of white haired boy on a skated next to Gon. a white head I knew to well, I hurried my step and hid my face.

I pushed off the ground and landed on... guess who's head?

Well, can you guess?

No?

Well I'll tell you. it's...

Hisoka's!

That's right, I landed on Hisoka's head and he chuckled. I grinned cheekily down at him. He let me ride on his head until we reached the end of the tunnel and I jumped and landed next to him.

"He's an imposter!" A shout rang through the air and Hisoka's eyes were trained on the fake and it tried to convince the other contestants that satotz wasn't the examiner.

Suddenly Hisoka's cards embedded in the fake and were caught in satotz's fingers.

"It does not matter what the occasion, if you do this again you will be disqualified." Satotz said and Hisoka chuckled.

"That's fine." He said and I laughed.

"You would say that." I snickered.

He looked at me with a smirk and a chuckle. He shook his head and I smiled. I tilted my head up to look at the sky and heard a voice.

"I think I remember her." It said and I stiffened. "I tried to talk to her once but she ran off."

"You know Kia-chan?" Gon's voice followed and I blinked.

"Kia? That's a nice name."

"Hey Killua, why don't you say hi?" Gon asked and I winced slightly.

"N-Nani?" He choked. "Are you insane Gon? She avoided me ever since I saw her the first time, do you really think she'd talk to me?"

"You can't know until you try, Killua."

"G-Gon! Hey, wait! Woah!" Suddenly I felt someone fall into me and we tumbled to the ground. "Ah, g-gomen."

"I-it's f-fine." I stuttered nervously as we sat up and scooted back from each other.

"Your name is Kia, right?"

"H-Hai." I whispered, I looked in Hisoka's direction.
He locked eyes with me and gestured me over.

"I-I've gotta go... bye." I said and moved quickly in Hisoka's direction. when I reached him I whispered. "arigato, aniki."
"I don't see why he bothers you so."

"He doesn't, but I can't forget the rules they set, remember Hisoka?" I asked and he nodded.

"You could just say you've had enough."

"I could?"

"You didn't know? If you had actually said you didn't want to hide anymore they would have let you go."

"You think so?"

"They told me. The only condition is that you'd have to stay with me." he said but I could tell he was lying about the last part, but I let it slide. " I know you're scared of meeting one of the people you were trained to hide from, but I thought the boy was the only one close to sane in the family, shouldn't you try to be the friend you wanted to be from the start?"

"You're right, aniki. I guess i should at least try... even though I'm scared, maybe if I got to know him I wouldn't be so scared anymore, right?"

"Only you can decide if you're afraid of him or not." he said and I nodded.

"I-I'm gonna try." I said and he smiled slightly.

I slipped over to Killua and tapped his shoulder as he stood by Gon, looking dejected, he twisted around and I stepped back slightly.

"G-gomen. I didn't mean to startle you, I-uh, gomen for running off, I-I'm not used to a lot of people around, so I'm a bit jittery." I said, giving an apologetic smile.

"I-it's alright, I guess I deserved that..." he chuckled nervously, I could tell he thought I was going to run off again.
"No. You didn't deserve that, I was rude and I shouldn't have done that." I said with conviction.

"Why do you say that, after all, you know who I am." He said, sadly. "You know who I'm related to..."

"Who you're related to has nothing to do with any of this, and you are Killua, anything else I don't know what you're talking about." I said and gave a cheeky smile and he sighed and smiled back.

"Thanks."

"We can start fresh, my name is Kia as I'm sure Gon has told you. It's a pleasure to meet you, Killua."

"It's nice to meet you too." he said with a slight laugh. "The pleasure is mine."

He bowed jokingly and I giggled.

'Who knew a Zoldyk could joke around, but then again, he's different from the rest. He always will be.'

We joked around until we had to start running again. Killua and I stayed on the correct path while Gon went to find Kurapika and Leorio. We looked around at the finish for Gon but couldn't until the ending time. I tilted my head, positioning my ears in the direction of the gates and caught the scent of a big eater.

"Cooking." I said and got curious looks from Gon, Kurapika Leorio, and Killua. "Nani?"

"What do you mean?"

"Exactly what I said. Cooking."
