An annoying beeping sound fills the room just as Alanna's small, child size foot wacks me in my right hip. Rolling over I shut the alarm off and slowly and dreadfully, drag myself out of bed to get Alanna's school books and outfit ready for the day. Today I've decided to take Alanna to school myself, of course my car is all blacked out so I still won't be caught in the public eye, thank god.

I trudged over to the door opening it and entering the beautiful, marble stoned hallway. Making my way to Alanna's room, I open her door only to scream in agony after one small step in. "UGH, this girl really needs to clean her room, stupid lego!" After nearly crying [don't judge, lego's are harmful] I began to collect the things she needed today and after searching for quite some time, I had everything packed and ready to go. I made my way down the glass marble stairway, entering the kitchen and setting her bag down on one of the chairs that sat perfectly in front of our glorious island piece.

I pulled out some things for breakfast and began to set them up on the stove. as I waited, I made my way back up the stairs and into randy and I's bedroom to find a sprawled out, gorgeous Alanna looking ever so peaceful in her sleep. I walked over to the side of the bed and shook her with only so much as a light touch, just enough to see her flutter her beautiful brown eyes open. "its time for school, breakfast will be ready shortly. can you do me a favor and run your bath water today?" I said in a light tone, as she gave me a reassuring smile whilst sitting up and rubbing her eyes. Nearly two minutes later she was trailing behind me and off she went to run the water as I went finish up her breakfast.

After she bathed and got  herself all dressed up for the day, she quickly gulped down her pancakes with eggs for eyes, bacon for a smile, and two blueberries for a nose; jumping down and running to the dogs room, letting them out the back door. I swear, seeing her eyes light up at the sight of her animals was the most fascinating view ever. If you're currently asking yourself why we "lock the dogs up" or "why they have their own room", its simply because they're puppies in training. We don't wont them to do their business all over the house so they have a glorious puppy room to themselves. Yes, it is puppy proofed and is made for a dog to feel comfortable and happy, I promise the room is spacious and better than a cage.

I put our plates and cups in the dishwasher, setting some dog food and water down; calling the dogs back inside before grabbing my car keys and walking towards the garage. "Adrian?" i heard a small voice say behind me.

I look back seeing Alanna with a confused look on her face. "yes, sweetheart?"

"are you taking me to school today or did you forget that the nanny does when dads not here?" she questioned. "I decided I felt well enough to have a little drive to the school yard this morning, just to spend some time with you. Is that okay with you or would you rather have nanny rose take you?" I asked her, raising an eyebrow causing her to giggle.

"no, I want you to take me today!! lets go on an adventure" she ran past me, jumping into the passenger side of the car, buckling up without even being asked. That's my girl... i thought to myself as i did the same, starting the car and taking off towards the school.

After School

After i picked Alanna up from school we headed straight home and got right to work. Everyday I swear this little bug of ours gets smarter and smarter, it's sad to say that I think shes smarter than Randy and I combined already. I decided to leave her to her thirty minutes of reading that is required everyday and go give the dogs some loving. "max, Biscuit!" i yelled around the house until i could hear their paws waking against the floor and I could see them running down the hall fast as ever straight for me. I decided to sit on the cold, hardwood floor just as they both started attacking me with kisses.
