Randy's POV

7:00AM

Waking up to a perfect sunrise peeking through the curtains of an old hotel room is a good way to start the day. The only thing missing are my two lovely ladies and my little princess that i can't wait to meet. Today Aid and Alanna would be joining life back on the road. Considering that today is my daughters last day of sixth grade makes me sad but happy. Sad because shes growing up far too fast and happy because shes doing an amazing job in school, I am beyond proud of her.

I'm currently driving to the LAX airport to pick up my two lovely girls and I'm having trouble containing my excitement. I feel as though this drive is going far too slow, but I can't afford to be pulled over and be stopped. After about a two hour drive I pulled up to the airports pick-up spot, waiting for my girls to pop up somewhere among the crowd. Waiting for people is not my strong suit and I end up going stir crazy, so I look around and all the different faces passing by: actually taking in the reality of how many people live in this world.

as hundreds of kids pass by and thousands of adults, only two stand out and those are MY girls. Alanna quickly runs towards me, giving me the biggest bear hug in the world. "I missed you like crazy baby girl" i said, returning the bear hug and leaving a small kiss on her cheek. she told me she missed me too as she stepped to the side making the most beautiful woman I have ever seen visible to my eyes. "Now you, i missed you more than I can explain" After saying this i grabbed her face, kissing her with passion like never before. I couldn't believe how madly in love I had fallen with this perfect woman.

After saying our hello's and having Alanna shout "EW" at us, we packed the car with their luggage and drove off towards the hotel we would be staying in for the next two nights. The car ride was a nice one, knowing that I hadn't seen the girls in two months: except via face-time, I was smiling like crazy just to have them sit in silence beside me. Every few minutes I would look in the mirror to admire the young woman my little princess was growing up to be. Still not being able to believe that shes twelve now and she's in middle school. It's been a crazy yet fun adventure with her. After taking a few glances at her I couldn't help but to admire my beautiful fiance sitting in the seat next to me.

The way her eyes sparkled in the sun and the way the sunshine just barley hit her face, making it look like I had an angel in the car with me. Looking at the side of her face reminded me of before we got together when we woke up one morning and I just laid there taking in her beautiful side view. She really was something special and I sure as hell am one lucky guy.

After getting to the hotel and getting settled, Aid had to go to a meeting with Paul [tripleh] and Stephanie to discuss her position as general manager of Smack-down Live. I decided to take Alanna to see the city because shes never been here before, did I forget to mention that we are in New York! I figure some father-daughter time in NYC would make her happy. Along the way she asked me multiple questions about everything there is to know about the city and I could almost answer most of them.

As we explored the beautiful city, watching thousands of tourists pass by, we sat down for some ice cream at a top notch ice-cream parlor. "we'll take two vanillas with fudge swirls and light sprinkles on top, please" i told the lady as she began to scoop up our order. After Alanna and I talked for a good hour sitting at that shop, we got up and headed back towards the hotel to watch some movies and relax for tonight.
