Hey everyone,
Following the success of my rather short Klaus and Caroline fanfic, I've decided to go for a novel, completely separate from the plot of Vampire Diaries/The Originals.
Because this is my work, I kind of want to lay down some groundwork and make sure you know where I'm writing from. In this story, Caroline has just finished college and is wondering what to do next. I'm not including any other characters in this, so don't ask about Stefan, Damon, Elena etc. I'm leaving Hayley and the baby to your imagination, I may include that later in the story, but remember if I do, it may or may not be inspired by what happens in The Originals. We'll see! Here's a synopsis for you, then I'll shut up and we can get on with it!
Caroline Forbes, vampire, former Miss Mystic Falls and self-confessed control freak, has graduated from college. For years since turning, Caroline has been living her life as if she were human, going to college, making friends, breaking friends, meeting guys, hooking up, breaking up... But she's a vampire, with the world at her feet, and seriously, what is she going to do with a degree? She's way too awesome to get stuck in some dead end job.
As she packs up her dorm, filled with disappointment about having to return to Mystic Falls, there's a knock at her door. A delivery man presents her with a graduation gift - and a choice: return to Mystic Falls, to her old life, or go on an adventure?
Thing is, it's who she'd be adventuring with that's the problem. Klaus, the hybrid who loves her, is offering her the chance to see the world and her wild side is fighting to break through? But if she agrees, if she lets him take control of this, what's to stop him taking control of her?
Hope you're all excited now, I'm going to put my all into this, I hope you enjoy it. Get ready for a world tour with Klaus and Caroline...
