Third person POV
After trekking for about few hours, the turquoise-haired girl reached the bottom of the mountains that towered over her intimidatingly. Walking around the mountains would take roughly a week whereas cutting through the valley would take roughly 3 days, including all the rests and breaks she would have to take. Not wanting to waste any time whatsoever, she chose to scale the mountain. Besides, she was up for a challenge. She tightened her sack's opening that contained her medical kit and a small blanket. She also adjusted her sheath around her waist to make sure it wouldn't slip. Once she was sure nothing would fall whilst she was climbing, she scaled her way up the rocky cliff face. She calculated this precipice was roughly 6 meters high with a slightly angled overhang, but the climb itself wasn't too bad. The rocks were not wet and slippery and there were many good hand and foot holds. The height didn't scare her as long as she kept her head up looking at the blue skies.
She hauled herself up and onto a platform and decided to rest there. She noticed this was a path of some sort and decided to follow it, hoping it would lead to a wider area which would be more suited for resting. As she grew closer she could feel a tingling sensation throughout her body. She ignored it and blamed it on the toll that rock climbing has taken on her muscles.
(f/n) POV
It felt like my two feet were walking on their own, as if they were familiar with this place but somehow I was not.
I feel something nearby. Something....blue? Also, something.....white?? It's strong too...........something's off about this place......why is it making me feel these colours......how is it even remotely possible to feel colours........anyhow I don't think the colours mean any harm, so staying here should be ok......
I arrived at an entrance to some cave. My instincts drew my interest and curiosity to it, and so I found myself wondering into it. As I walked further into the tunnel several people wearing masks appeared from behind veils. I didn't recognize any of the strange markings on them. The acted cautiously around me, as if I were some wild beast that would attack with any sudden moves. I boldly asked for permission to take shelter here for 3 days. The chief of this village of sorts reluctantly accepted when he saw I meant no harm. He then lead me through the maze-like tunnels deeper into the mountains where I would be staying.
I also feel...a fire nearby. A burning, hot, sensation. I feel wary of it, like if I near it it will scorch me.
I immediately dismissed the feeling, again thinking the reason behind it was from overexerting myself. The chief then arrived at my room, I quickly thanked them and went to take a rest. I just rested for 2 minutes when my break was (very rudely) interrupted by a violent earthquake. It shook the floor and walls. Cracks on the ceiling snaked along and grew. I quickly ran towards the epicentre of the tremor, and found the a small space with many villagers crowded in it. I push my way to the front and saw a barricade. It was made of boulders of various sizes, that probably dislodged during the quake and caused this. One man stood away from the crowd, at the front. He had black hair and wore a blue cloak. The man held a very heavy looking halberd and was using it frantically trying to slash his way through the rubble.
"Hime-sama! Yun! White snake! I'm coming for you!"
Princess?! Hold up, don't tell me....it's the princess......the presence of the colours are also stronger than ever here....this feeling is palpable......it's so close......
The man then turned around as the villagers told him it would be easier to dig from the outside. Everyone then rushed out and the black haired male immediately started digging his way to rescue his princess. I rushed forward to help, bashing away at the rocks with my sword. "Hime-sama.....I'm coming to save you....." This hime must really be someone to him....then that must be the boyfriend she ran away with......general Thunder Beast..... The villagers only stood back and watched us work away by ourselves. I must admit, every swing he made much more impact to the wall than I ever could. Damn, I am extremely jealous of this guy's strength....
With one final swing he broke down the barricade to his hime. In an instant he was by her side and held her tightly. All I can see of her from behind him is a bit of red hair and pink clothing. The once-trapped villagers ran to be reunited with their families, and I smiled at their happiness. Looking back at those left in the cave, there was a guy with white hair and one with blue hair with a chipmunk on his shoulder. I-It's them. White....blue....... The strong guy with black hair finally pulled back from his long embrace and revealed a girl who looked younger than me and had red hair. Her face was streaked with tears of joy. Why....why do I suddenly feel.....weird? The girl ran towards me and hugged me. "Th..Thank you! For helping Hak! And saving us all!" I could barely hear her, because when she touched me...
My blood ran ice cold.
I slipped out of consciousness. A voice echoed in my head as the darkness slowly surrounded me.
My warrior.....You are now my other half.....
What is going on? Who are you??
You will serve Hiryuu as your master, protecting him, serving him as he wishes.
K-King Hiryuu?? But that's a legend.....
Gain their trust....and when he needs you most.....
Th....This is not possible.........the....the other version of the legend....
......you are to betray and slay him.
I-It's true.
