It was simply unbearable. The bond between us were like magnets, and to not be able to go to him was torture.Literally.Everytime another female 'touched' him i was on fire.  I'm still slightly confused on why he rejected me. i get it, I'm not exactly pretty but dang. He has some serious nerve. I told my bestfriend Luke what happened and he was very upset.

"I can't believe it! Your supposed to love your mate and the very ground she walks on!" He screamed angrily. His mate rejected him too (something about not trusting men), and died a year later. The bond was weak though, from lack of not knowing eachother  so it didn't effect him like it did me  Though, he still went through some pain.I would know, i was his support.

Luke was a thin kid, with black hair and dark green eyes. he was about 5'10, and was a bit taller than me. He looked a lot like me,people thought we were sibilings. Which was cool with us cause we never fought it.

"I know Luke, but please don't tell anyone...Alpha's orders." I said bowing my head. After that, he came over to my seat on the park bench and comforted me with words while hugging me. Not sure what I'd do without him..

That was two weeks ago. It's been getting worse.I feel sick and tired all the time and i'm always in some form of  pain. It was terrible.I walked down the hallways until i stopped in front of a janitor's closet.

" Oh my god ....Jace ...jace!"  A grunt came in reply.

Tears fell from my eyes,I was so heartbroken as i quickly turned bumping into a hard chest.I looked up, before hugging Luke, crying into his chest. He quickly picked me up and carried me out of school. He was always there whenever I needed him.

I'm not sure when i passed out, but when i woke up I was on Luke's black bed

."I see your up!"

His cheery voice called from the doorway. He was smiling, and had his hands in his black skinny jeans.I smiled, sitting up."Yeah...Uh..Thanks." I said quietly I was actually observing him. Something was up.

He nodded before coming over and sitting next to me, suddenly serious."Listen Rose, you can't keep doing this."

I nodded, " I know.I don't even think i can." I said sadly."

" I called Craig." My ears perked upon hearing his name."He said we can stay over there," Luke continued after a moment. "He won't tell anyone. And I'm coming with you!" I nodded not bothering to argue .Luke was my supporter and i was his. I can't imagine a world without him."Tonight pack a bag, and meet me at the park around midnight." I nodded, giving him a hug."Thanks."I whispered  I then realised that Luke must've had planned this.He didn't reply, but i know he heard. And we sat there, together, thinking in silence.

---------------------------------------

It was midnight and everyone was asleep, not suspecting a thing.I hid my happiness, only letting it slip in my voice a few times causing people to look at me weird.  Especially Jace, who was hovering around me, eyeing me suspiciously. It was uncomfortable to fight my feelings and urges. it was hard to get rid of him, too.

I told my mom i was leaving but never where or with who.  I couldn't risk it, but I knew I couldn't leave the one woman who loved me without a single Good-bye.

"Be careful sweety.I-i want you to know i love you. "She looked sad, with tears in her eys and all. I guess she was upset she couldn't give me a better life herself. I smiled," I love you too Mom!" I gave her a hug, and she handed me a envelope."Remember to call me." I slipped on my backpack, put my hood on and smiled at her one last time, savoring the embrace, before jumping out my window with the  envelope in my pocket.

It was dark out, the only light was the moon.I reached the playground and saw luke sitting on a swing, a lost expression on his face."Ready?" I asked pulling him out of his trance. He smiled, stood up and nodded. We held hands and headed into the dark woods.I took one last look behind me.

'By the time they realise we're gone we'll be at craig's with a new life...'

well, I could only hope anyway.
