Backstory:
Dean and you had dated for years and had a falling out. It had been a year since your break up and Dean had barely given it a second thought. Then one night he got in a fight with Sam and Sam brought up your name accidentally. Dean's bright green eyes clouded over and were rimmed with salty tears. He walked away and sat in his Baby for a while. Finally he made a decision.
Present- your POV:
I sit on my couch swiping endlessly through dating sites. Finally I sigh in frustration and throw my laptop to the side and turn up my rock music. I pick up my phone and call my best friend."Girl! This better be important! I am in the middle of Mean Girls." My winy bff answers.
"Dating sites are lame! Why did I agree to this? And you shouldn't be watching Mean Girls, the Avengers are way better!" I protest.
"You haven't dated anyone since that Dean guy. You need to get back out there! Now I have to go, Josh just arrived and I need to finish my movie."
"Lame movie."
"Whatever. Bye." CLICK.
I sigh again and throw my phone at the wall. Maybe my best friend is right, I should get out there... but guys are so annoying, so is dating. I have to wear a bra and that totally ruins everything. My stomach rumbles and I pull my self up to grab some dessert.
As I eat my ice cream I turn my music up even more to the point of a passing person would think I have a full out rock concert in my living room. I sway my hips to the music, pull my messy (h/c) locks out of my bun and lose myself in the screams and electric guitar. I am so into it that I don't notice a tall, muscular being standing behind me.
Dean POV:
I smirk at the crazy dance moves and blaring music. She really hasn't changed at all. I tap her on the shoulder and she turns around.
She doesn't scream or cry or even look surprised. She frowns and shouts instead:
"You threw off my moves!"
"What moves?" I laugh over the music. She shakes her head, smiling and grabs my hands.
"Dance with me."
Soon we are whirling around her house. I sidestep her coffee table and pick her up by the waist. She straddles me and kisses my forehead. I toss her onto the couch and she pulls me down on top of her. I lean in and kiss her. We still fit together. She tastes so sweet and she is so soft. She has her hands rapped around my neck and her legs around my waist. Suddenly she pulls away and grabs the remote out of her pocket and turns down the music.
"Dean." She is panting. Her cheeks are flushed. Her hair spread out on the couch. "Why are you here?"
"I love you. I always have."
Her smile could light up the night, and it does.
"I love you too. You have finally come home."
"I came home. I'm sorry you had to wait so long. I never wanted you to get hurt, and my life puts you in danger."
"Dean, there is something I have to tell you about that."
"What?"
"I'm a hunter now too."
Ten minutes later.
"Did you seriously wait for me?" I ask as I watch (Y/n) put her ice cream back in the refrigerator.
"Not so much wait, as enjoy being single. On dates I always had to wear a bra and makeup. Blah."
"You didn't have to wear anything when we were dating." I flirt and put my arms around her from behind. She turns around and kisses me.
"I missed you."
"I missed you too." I kiss her again.
"And if you don't want me to wear anything, follow me up stairs." She whispers in my ear then bolts upstairs. I take off after her, throwing my shirt off on my way.
