Chapter 3-Reagan's POV
"What threw you into this hell?"
"Umm...it's kinda embarrassing. It was back when my hair was long. I guess I should tell you what I can do. I can freeze stuff. Kinda like Frozone in the Incredibles but not as black and not as good. They caught me freezing guards and stealing money. I was trying feel a rush; freezing my water no longer sufficed." As Sean spoke I watched his lips. I know I just met him but I wanted so bad to kiss him until I realized what he was saying. HE'S A GODDAMN THIEF.
"Did you hear me?"
"Umm...What?" I had zoned out. Never have I ever been around a criminal.
"What are you in for? Throwing cars across the highway? Reading the test answers out of your teacher? Controlling the weather?" It was a reasonable question. He told me his ability so why shouldn't I? "I was seen falling a sleeping in spanish class, and then falling through the floor. Pretty much I walk through walls."
We were nearing my building and all I could think was "he's a criminal" and "oh my god he's hot." But everyone deserves a second chance right? I mean he's not a criminal anymore.
"So whose your roommate?" As he spoke I only watched his lips move up and down.
We were nearing my building and I didn't know anything about the person I'll be sharing a room with the next few years or so. "Some girl named Candy. Do you know her?" I said as I glanced down long enough to look for her name on my dorm information paper.
He stopped moving. We weren't at my building yet but I could see the it in the distance. Had I said something wrong? Damn it I always do something wrong around hot guys.
"This is where I leave you. Little tip about Candy: it's no use trying be her friend put on a smile and find a new place to stay ASAP. There's a reason she doesn't have a roommate after being at the school for three years." He looked a little pale in the face as he said this. The good luck he added as he walked away made me the most nervous.
