Shawn's POV
Yes! I scored a date with the girl Ive liked for like 2 years. She's beautiful. I put on a plain navy blue shirt and black jeans. I go to pick up Camila and when she opens the door my jaw drops. She has on a simple white dress. She looks adorable. "Hey Camila. You look beautiful." I say and in the background I see Lauren staring at me like I stole something from her. Camila told me about Lauren last night when we were texting,she sounds nice,she probably just doesn't feel good. "You look nice yourself." She says and I smile. "Bye Lauren I'll be back in an hour." She says and Lauren smiles and waves at both of us. Camila and I go to the arcade and then eat pizza. She kicked my ass at pac-man. "Good job Mila. But I'll beat you one day." I say and she laughs. "In your dreams." She says. We drive back to her place and when we get to her dorm I smile and kiss her cheek. "I had a great time Camila. Is there a chance for a second date one day?" I say. "Shawn..I really liked you. For two years. But I don't feel like we should be together. I feel like we should just be friends. I'm sorry but I like someone else." she says and at first I'm upset but I understand. "Lauren?" I ask and her eyes go wide. "It's okay. I understand. Go get her." I say happily and she smiles. "Thank you Shawn. For being so understanding. Goodnight." She says and goes inside. I'll be okay.
Lauren's POV
I was listening to their whole conversation. Camila likes me? Great. "Hey. How was the date?" I ask. "I told him I didn't wanna go further. I like someone else." She says and walks towards me. "Oh." Is all I could say. "I'm gonna go take a shower." She says and walks into the bathroom. "Little tease." I say very quietly so she can't hear me. I already took my shower so I have on black night shorts on and a white hoodie. She comes out in white shorts and a big red t-shirt. "Hey Lo." She says in a sleepy voice. "Tired?" I ask and she nods. She goes to her bed and lays down. "Come here." She says and I go and sit on the side of her bed. She grabs my hoodie and pulls me towards her and softly kisses my lips. The kiss only lasted about 5 seconds but it was amazing. When I pull away I smile and so does she. "Goodnight Camz." I say and she says goodnight back and goes to sleep. I go to sleep and think about the kiss. It was slow and passionate and I'm happy she likes me.
