"Oh no he's not." Gemma grumbled, slamming the door open and running to the front of the house. I heard a bunch of yelling, but I couldn't make out what they were saying. I sighed and slowly got out of the car, being careful of my belly. I stumbled over to them and Harry looked at me from over Gemma's shoulder. She was screaming something about trust, but he pushed her away.
"Brooklyn that wasn't what it looked like, I promise!" He said. I laughed.
"Harry, I trust you. I knew it wasn't a big deal." He sighed in relief, then glanced at Gemma. "Then why is she freaking out?" He asked me, an eyebrow raised. I glared at her.
"I can yell at him on my own if it comes down to it." He chuckled.
"And she does that a lot." I rolled my eyes.
"I do not."
"Yes you do."
"No I don't!"
"Brooklyn, stop lying to yourself!"
"Shut up Harry, I don't yell at you a lot!"
"Oh I swear you two are ten years old!" She threw her hands up.
"Admit it, you both yell." She smiled. "But it's cute, and honestly kind of goals, because you two always make up like three seconds after." Harry smirked.
"I don't see you yelling at Liam." She groaned.
"Stop bringing him up! We aren't even together." I rolled my eyes, putting a hand on her shoulder.
"You are though." She frowned.
"We haven't even kissed, and he hasn't asked me out, so no we're not. And it's none of your business anyways. I'm a grown woman and I can do what I want. Gosh darn it I'm almost thirty." She said. Harry shrugged, taking my hand in his and looking down at me.
"She has a point, we should really stop pestering her." I nodded.
"Not everyone has a perfect love story like you two." She murmured. Harry pulled her into a hug and she embraced him lovingly. It was sweet. Brother/sister love.
"Our story isn't perfect Gemma. No one's is." He pulled away and kissed her on the cheek.
"I should leave. I want to talk to Liam." She said. She turned to walk away but Harry and I glanced at each other before he grabbed her arm.
"Do you really like him?" He asked her softly. She sighed and ran a nervous hand through her hair.
"I do. But I don't know that he likes me...he hasn't made a move and it's been a few months now." She said sadly.
"Have you tried talking to him about it, or making a move?"
"Yeah. I leaned in to kiss him a few nights ago because I thought we were having this moment, but he just kind of turned away and didn't say anything..." She trailed off. Harry sighed.
"Liam doesn't share his feelings too much, and it takes him a while to get to know someone. Just sit down and talk to him, it's best to corner him." She laughed.
