CHAPTER FIVE- Guinea pig food
There are tons of dos and donts for guinea pig food. For one, which is VERY important, a guinea pig CANNOT have Vitamin D. For instance, do not give it rabbit food. It is very harmful to your guinea pig, and it could die. Yes, you can take your guinea pig out in the sun, even though the sun gives out Vitamin D, as long as your guinea pig doesn't eat the sun.
First of all, you can obviously give it guinea pig food. You can also give it - carrots, celery, grapes, dill, radishes, cucumber, grass, and hay. Guinea pigs eat a little something all the time, so that's why guinea pigs are "fat". The weight for a healthy adult guinea pig, should be around 1.4 kg.
Feel free to give your guinea pig guinea pig treats when it's obedient!
