The weeks went by, silent and uneventful. Every few days, Garmadon would call Wu, and tell him how boring it is down in the village, bringing a smile to Wu's face. Christmas passed, and soon the end of the year was upon them. Wu sat in in the sitting room of the monastery next to the fireplace, writing in a scroll. He went to dip his quill in ink, when his phone began ringing, causing him to jump, and spill the ink. He groaned, and took the cellphone from his pocket, running to the kitchen to get a rag.

" Hello?" He asked, digging around in a storage closet for a rag.

" Wu? It's-"

" You know you made me spill the last of the ink in the well....All over the carpet." He said coldly. " Stop being so sudden with your calls...And didn't we just speak last night?"

" We did, and sorry, but-"

" I forgive you." Wu sighed. " But, that ink is permanent, and this rug wa-"

" SHUT UP, YOU FOOL!! " Garmadon shouted on the other end. Wu pulled the phone away from his ear, wincing in pain.

" Never. Do that. Again." Wu mumbled, holding the phone to his ear once again. " Now, what is it?"

" Misako was rushed to the hospital, can you get down here?" Garmadon asked, his voice panicked.

" What? What happened?" Wu asked, stopping his search for a rag.

" She has been sick, and they think it may effect the baby...If you can come, then do so!"

" But, there is at least four feet of snow out there!" Wu cried out.

" So?" Wu scowled.

" I'm five foot six....What do you think!? Did you not forget I'm short like our mom!?" Garmadon snickered.

" 'Course not...Please, just find a way down!" The line went dead after that final line. Wu sighed, and flipped the cover closed, looking out the window over the sink. He sighed, and quickly got to his feet.

Wu ran into the sitting room, and quickly put out the fire. He packed a few things into a small backpack, and stood at the door.

" Ok....It's just some snow...." Wu chided to himself. " Just some snow..." He opened the door, and snow began to enter the monastery. Wu quickly stepped out onto the deck, and closed the door behind him. A cold wind whipped at his short hair, and chilled him to the bone. He shivered, and ran along the deck, searching for a shallow area in the snow. There was none. He groaned, and stepped off of the deck, and into the snow. He cried out, as the wet, heavy snow began soaking through his robes. He shivered, and tried to take a step forward, to fall face first into the snow. With some trouble, he got to his feet, wiping snow from his eyes. He sighed, his breath coming out as a cloud of steam. Come on, Wu.....For Garmadon.. He continued stumbling through the snow, until he reached the center of the courtyard. He closed his eyes, and golden light surrounded him, and a dragon's roar echoed off the mountain. He cried out with joy, and climbed onto the mighty beast's back.

" Ready?" He asked, taking the dragon's golden reins. The dragon roared, and breathed a golden fire, it's burning heat melting the snow around him. " Take to the sky, mighty dragon! Garmadon needs us!" The dragon took off into the sky, and flew over the monastery's walls, and dove down, bursting through the storm clouds. Wu laughed, as the dragon pulled his wings in tighter, and began to do a barrel roll.

" Stop, stop!" Wu laughed, as they neared the base of the mountain. That's when it occurred to him, that he didn't know where his brother was. He sighed, and called his brother.
