An Unexpected Meeting {Sterek}

I sat down on the grass, underneath my favourite tree. I always come here to study, it's rather peaceful. I started on my Algebra as I was slowly falling behind. Ever since mum died I haven't been so good with my grades. Dad understands that, he works as the sheriff so he just has to put up with the loss. Which I find totally unfair in his situation, I try and help him from time to time, apart from that I'm usually studying.

Out the corner of my eye I spot Derek and his group of friends. I know they're not exactly normal, I mean Isaac was a nerd like me before Derek found him. The same went for Erica. And now all of a sudden they're, well hot and hell popular. They also have these golden yellow eyes when the get mad, except for Derek, his are freakin' red. Which I know for a fact is not normal.

I've often thought about going up to them and asking if they could do that to me, but I never really have the guts to do it. Something tells me that it was some Supernatural thing that happened to them. I don't know whiter Derek is a Vampire, Werewolf or what. But he's definitely not normal, I know that.

Derek and his group start walking towards me, I put my head down and start writing down random Algebraic nonsense so they won't bother me. But of course that doesn't work and they continue to come this way. All I can do now is hope and pray that they don't kill me or something.

"Stiles." Derek said.

Y-Y-Yes?" I managed to stutter.

"We need to talk." He said with a serious expression on his face.

Crap. I hope he doesn't want to turn me into the same thing as everyone else.

"Uh.. Yeah ssure.." I said.

"Good. Isaac, Erica, Could you and the others go somewhere else.' Derek said sternly.

Isaac and the others reluctantly headed towards the canteen area.

"So uh, what did you wanna talk about?" I said trying to act all cool, which really wasn't working.

"You. Me." Derek said simply.

"You. Me?" I repeated rather confused.

"You and me, if that makes any more sense. I thought you were the smart kid." He said  un-amused.

"Hey! I am a smart kid!" I fired back at him.

You and me. Does he mean like a couple or a friendship? Partners?

"Clearly, otherwise you would of started running as soon as you saw my group and I. Which you know is not the best decision as we have supernatural abilities." He said with a blank expresion.

"H-How did you?" I said shocked.

"Your facial expression gave it away." He said.

'Oh.. Okay." I said, I am both shocked and confused. Derek Hale is talking to me which is really weird and quite frankly scary. Plus he also said You and Me. Which I am still trying to figure out.

"I like you Stiles, that's the anser if your wondering. Which I know you are." He said laughing.

Like I said confused and shocked.

"Like me? As a friend?" I said.

"No. We're not even friends. I like you and I have for a while now. I don't know why or how, but I do." He stated.

"Right." I said awestruck.

Derek Hale likes me. We don't even talk. And he likes me. What the hell is going on.

"I know you're bi sexual Stiles. So your excuse won't work on me. I also know that you liked Danny at one point." Derek said rather impresed with himself.

"How did you know all of that!" I growled.

"Stiles. Are you forgetting that I have supernatural abilities. That means I can hear better than humans. And the answer to your other question is a Werewolf." He said.

"Why are you telling me all this? As you said before 'We're not even friends.' So why do you trust me?" I questioned him.

"Because I trust you, and you're scared of me so you wouldn't do anything with the information I give you." Derek stated.

"Oh really? Try me." I said.

"I will ripe your throat out with my teeth if you do." He growled.

"Oh. Well then. In that case." I said rather scared.

"Good. Now back to the reason I came over here. You. Me. 10:00pm tonight at the old factory. Bring a torch." He said smirking. And with that he walked off.

Did he just ask me out on a date?

Derek Hale. Of all the people in the world. I never thought he would ask me out on a date. 

Well then Stiles, you better start planning what you're gonna wear tonight.
