One Piece: 7 Minutes In Heaven

  "(Y/n)... pick a card," Nami shakes the top hat, "It's easy as pie."
  (Y/n) blushes and looks at the floor before timidly reaching her hand into the bag. The card she pulls out is a light shade of red that it's almost pink. There's a drawing of a flame... with what seems to be red beads around it and the fire has... a cowboy hat on it? Who had the time to draw this?
  "Geez... that's detailed," Nami shrugs and pushes the unsuspecting girl into the closet, "Well. Whatever."
  (Y/n) blinks a few times while she's waiting and thinks over the events that have recently taken place over the past few weeks.
~flashback~
  "Oh, come on, (Y/n), it'll be fine. You can't keep moping around all because you're ex- was cheating on you a month into your relationship. This will help you get out there," (Y/n) could tell he was smiling, "He wasn't worth your time if he can't even keep to one girl. Also, If you don't like the party you can leave, but I can guarantee I'll show you a good time."
  "A-Ace! D-don't say stuff like that!" she blushed, "I-I'll go to the party... if that's what you really want..."
  "Yes! It'll be good for you, maybe you'll finally get over him. I mean, I get that it's only been two weeks since you found out and broke up with him, but you need to get out here! There are plenty of fishes in the seas!" he practically screamed into the phone laughing like a maniac.
  "You're right," she laughed, "I-I'll see you at the party, r-right?"
  "Of course! I wouldn't miss seeing your cute smile for the world," he hung up after that remark and she stared at the phone. I didn't ask him what time the party is... w-wait! H-he thinks I have a cute smile?
~End of flashback~
  "No matter how much I try... I can't tell Ace. I've never been the type of girl who can easily explain what I'm feeling... I wonder if I could at least tell him thank you," she mumbles under her breath, "If I do... he'll ask why... but he's the only one who was there for me when I found out what happened... when I'm around him... my heart races... am I really... was I always in love with him? Am I really right now? Or am I just projecting what I wanted from my ex onto Ace?"
  "I... don't know, how about we find out, (Y/n)?" a voice in the dark speaks and a hand tilts her chin up, "We still have about two minutes left."
  "Y-you were there this whole time?!" she blushes and tries to look away from him, "W-why didn't you tell me you were in here?"
  "I found it cute that you were zoning out. I didn't want to disturb you," Ace leans in closer, "I didn't want to say anything before, but I wanted you to get me. I wanted to tell you I love you, but I thought it'd be too soon; I didn't want to pressure you into saying anything back, but hearing you say that... let's test my theory."
  His lips meet hers, at first softly, but then he kisses her with more want and need. She feels as if she's melting into the kiss. When the door opens, Ace neglects to stop kissing her.
  "Alright Ace! Leave the poor girl alone!" Nami cries out feeling saddened that (Y/n) once again has a bigger chance of getting a boyfriend before her. She actually starts to cry when the next words are exchanged between the couple in the closet.
  "(Y/n)... will you be my girlfriend?" he brushes a strand of (h/c) out of her face, "I know it may be too soon, but I'll wait until you're ready. I-"
  She kisses him, with her face now the shade of his paper, "Y-yes. I'll try being in a r-relationship again, b-but only with you..."

    "(Y/n)... pick a card," Nami shakes the top hat, "It's really the easiest thing possible."
  (Y/n) glares at Nami and traces her teeth with her tongue before throwing her hand into the bag. The card she brings out is incredibly detailed and she knows right away who it is. She throws the light red paper into Nami's hand.
  "I'll be in the closet," she walks straight into the closet, slams the door, and sits down against the wall.
  The door opens and the couple hears the door close and lock. Ace stares at her, "Did you have to slam the door? Are you not glad it's me?"
  "No. Quite the opposite really. I-" she stops and thinks about her ex, "never mind. I'm only being stupid."
~flashback~
  (Y/n) had walked in on her (ex) boyfriend kissing another girl and was walking down the hall when she ran into Ace.
  "(Y/n)? Why are you crying?" Ace looked around the corridor and then back at the crying female who was trying to wipe tears away from her (e/c) orbs, "What happened? Are you okay? ...Where's your boyfriend?"
  "He's-," she started but her voice cracked so she cleared it and tried again, "he's kissing another girl... I'm... no longer his one and only... I can't belie-where are you going?"
  Ace gave her a thumbs up, "To teach him a very valuable lesson. Stay there."
  He turned away and she thinks she heard him mumble, "No one messes with (Y/n) and gets away with it."
  Minutes later he came back with a few marks across his skin, "What happened? Are you okay?"
  "Yeah! Better than ever! I found out that he's been cheating on you since you guys hit the one month mark in your relationship," he chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck, "I guess I lost it. A teacher had to separate us; I got off with a warning this time. Sorry..."
  "What for?"
~End of flashback~
  "(Y/n)?" Ace sits next to her, "You feeling alright? Ever since your ex and I had that fight you've been ignoring me... I've been ignored for two weeks! You know how hurtful that is? Especially when I love you?"
  "W-what?" she looks at him, "Did you just say-"
  "Yep!" he cups her cheek and kisses her lips, "I'm in love with you, (Y/n). I have been since the day we met."
  "Ace... I love you too!" she wraps her arms around his body and the door opens.
  "Yay! You two a couple now?!" Luffy smiles and (Y/n) nods, "Good! Then he didn't get suspended for nothing!"
  She raises her eyebrows at his comment, "Suspended?"
  "Yeah! When Ace and your ex- got into a fight, Ace got suspended. He didn't tell you?" Luffy stops talking and senses the tension and closes the door, "Forget I said anything! Who's for giving them another minute or two so they can sort that out? No objections? Good."
  "Yeah... I agree with that," Nami walks back over and locks the closet door, "Have fun Ace, don't die."
  "Well... no promises. I'm screwed."
