Katerina lunged a Rock at the window. Her best friend Valerie came out of the door on her balcony. Her shoulders were draped with a silk robe the color of cherry blossoms. Her natural Auburn hair covered her shoulders. She looked down at me. She waved her hand at the torch on her balcony. The flame burnt bright and she could see me fully.
"Kat?" She asked me as she squinted she was rubbing her eyes.
"Yea its me. I need you to do me a huge favour and I know I owe you already but if you do this for me then I'll owe you so much. Val please do this for me." Katerina pleaded. She was half tempted to get on her knees and beg.
"Sure whatever you need." Valerie smiled at me.
"And please just please go with me and, Wait what?" Katerina asked not believing what she had just heard.
"I said Yes whatever you need. Can you give me a hand getting down from this stupid balcony without waking my parents?" Valerie asked Katerina. Her eyes filled with delight. She waved her hand from the top of the balcony to the ground. A glass like structure of stairs formed. It was ice. Valerie stepped down them. A flame followed her melting away the stair case, the element was casted from none other then Katerina.
"Thanks." Valerie told her best friend.
"No problem."
"Okay so what do you want me to do this time?" Valerie questioned her friend the moon let up the area a little and the torch helped. "We need to shake on it. No matter how reckless this is you have to do it with me. Okay" Katerina extended her arm out for Valeria to shake. She took it and shook on it.
"Alright." Valeria sighed. She had no idea what she had just done.
"Im running away and I need you to come with me." Katerina's words spilled out like a fountain and a speeding one too.
"Kat." Valerie took her arm and continued. "I'm in a really good college. I can't travel I dont have my tattoo yet. No one from the government knows who I am." Valerie told her with concern behind her voice.
"Exactly. Your in a good college, your smart, and your younger then me. When people hear your gone they won't tie our cases together." Katerina pleaded.
"Kat. This is the most stupidest thing you've ever done. And I would be a terrible friend if I let you do this alone. I'll pack my bag and we'll head off." Valerie changed her mind.
"Thank you thank you thank you!" Katerina jumped up and down and made a stair case for Valerie again. ¤¤¤¤¤¤¤ They heard voices running on the other side of the building. They were behind an old apartment building. Windows busted graffiti all over. It praticly echoed the sound.
"Are they gone?" Valerie asked as the sounds became faint.
"I don't think so. But come on let's go this way." Katerina moved her hand back by the old factories left of where they were. The guard had already searched in them and wouldn't do it again till early morning. It was the best place for them to go. ¤¤¤¤¤ "You awake Val?" Katerina asked looking up at the whole in the roof where the night sky was now visible.
"No." Valerie answered shifting her self on her side to look at Katerina.
"You remember when things were Simple?" Katerina asked tracing her tattoo in the stars.
"No." Was Valerie's answer.
