To start I would just like to say, for those of you who gave this novel a chance in the beginning thank you. I never thought it would get any reads. I am inspired to try again. However, when I started writing this, I was very young, and I would like to think I am a better writer now.
So until further notice this book is undergoing some major reconstruction, plot changes and character changes, etc. Please bear with me while I do so. I really hope you will enjoy what I have written.
Thanks!

Chapter one: Who would have thought?
"Come on, Ari! You HAVE to go. Please I'm begging you!" Everly gets on her knees in the middle of the hallway. Hands clasped together tightly. "This is our last chance. We'll never get this opportunity again, Ari."
"Always a flair for the dramatics, Ev." I roll my eyes at my best friend of 10 years. "You know my parents, they'll never let me go. They've never met Calvin, and that unfortunately means they will not agree to me going to this party. You'll just have to go without me." I grab the books I need from my locker and close the door.
"But this will be the biggest party of the century!" Again with the dramatics. "We graduate this Friday, it's our last chance to experience high school in it's rawest form. Just ask them, please. I'll do anything!"
How bad could it really be? I just have to ask and maybe just this once, they will let me go. It would be a graduation party after all.
"Alright, Alright, Ev. No need to go all theater major on me yet." She huffs, brushing the invisible dirt from her knees and fixes her blouse. "But if they say no, I don't want to hear anymore."
"Thank you." She gives me a curt nod and a smile and walks to the Library door.
We walk into the library where they have several lines set up. One for last names A-G, H-P and another for P-Z. Good old book return. The last one at that. At least they're giving us our Cap and Gown here too. We will be here for a while.
Everly and I get in our Respective lines. Her last name being Henderson and mine being Gunn, unfortunately we are in different lines. I take this time to text my mom.
'Hey Mom, there's a Graduation party Tonight, everyone is going. Would it be okay if I go?' Crossing my fingers I hit send.
I'm not really a party person, more of a sit in bed and read a good book until 3 AM kind of person, but Everly does make at least one valid point. This will be our last chance to do something "Highschool" even if it is just a dumb party.
I feel the vibration in my pocket. 'Where is it?' Uh-oh. Here we go.
'It's at this guy Calvin's house.' I respond quickly.
"Hey Ari!" A voice calls out from behind me. It's James Beckett, from my 4th period English class. We make eye contact, and I internally cringe. He must take that as a sign to come and talk to me, pushing the people in front of him out of the way.
"Hey James," I say with a sigh. I can feel my phone vibrate again, letting me know my mom has messaged me back.
"Hey, are you going to Calvin's party tonight?" He moves his books to one hand so he can run his fingers through his hair. I think he thinks it's cute, but really it just looks like he doesn't brush his hair. "I was hoping I would see you there, there was something I wanted to ask you..." He starts to trail off.
I give him a nod, letting him know I'm listening. Internally, I would rather be sticking my hand down a garbage disposal.
"You see..." He leads. I start to drift off thinking about my mom and what her text would say. Surely it wouldn't be, 'Oh sure darling, please go to this party, and make sure you take a condom!' That's doubtful.
