Chaeyoung and Mina had completely different concepts. Chaeyoung went for a more playful look, one that represented her well. Mina went for a serious look, one that she represented well. Chaeyoung was told she looked like a rapper and it was a concept that suited her, the judges never said anything about the feeling. Mina on the other hand gave a detailed explanation and the judges went with what she said. What were the feelings they were actual going for? Chaeyoung was thinking "I will make her smile and laugh everyday if she's by my side. I have to have her." While modeling she was being goofy trying to make Mina laugh while also matching her concept. Mina imagined herself as the queen/witch from Snow White. Like the queen/witch needed to be the most beautiful person on the land, Mina needed Chaeyoung. She held the apple thinking "Whoever steals Chaeyoung from me, will get this apple. No one else can have Chaeyoung but me." So both of their solo shots had a "She is/will be mine" feel. They're both still unaware they both have feelings for each other but if they make it to major or minor together... Chaeyoung plans to confess. She speculates Mina might have feelings for her. She doesn't want to screw up like she did with Somi.
