Julia's POV
I wake up and remember the morning that Brady kissed me on my door step. It doesn't feel like 1 week ago; it feels like yesterday. I get changed and I get ready for school.
At school, everyone asks me about the dance. I'm kind of glad people care, but it gets annoying.
I catch Mason staring at me in Math. I glare at him, and he smiles. I turn away and look at Brady. He's glaring at Mason too. I giggle, and the teacher hears me.
"JULIA!" She yells. "Your supposed to be paying attention." "Sorry," I apologize. "Well, since you caught our interests, what is the quotient of (44+25) x 124+ 93?" I stare into emptiness and say," I... I believe the answer is 8,648," I say nerdely. "NO!" I give her a questioning look. "IT'S 8,649!" I apologize, and the teacher continues class. The look Emma gives me is hysterical, like she wanted me to get one number wrong on the answer of the question my teacher asked me. I glare at her and she grins back.
Later on, I go over to Brady's house and wait on the front steps for him to open the door. I text him saying I'm at his house, and he then opens the door.
Brady's POV
I invite Julia inside and she sits on the couch. I order pizza and she smiles as I do so.
"Brady, do you really love me?"
"Of course"
"Will you ever love anyone else?"
"Yes, at some point"
"Will you love her more than me?"
"Yes, and you'll understand why when you meet her"
"When would I meet her?"
"When she looks up to you and stares deeply into your eyes and calls you 'mommy'''
She laughs. Her laugh is like a treasure. It's something you have to remember or else you don't have a big heart.
"Thank you, Brady, but what if we don't get that far?"
"We will," I say. "I know it. Ever since the day I met you, I knew I loved you."
