My Embarrassing Moments!!

When I was in primary school we had a whole school assembly every Friday afternoon. They were really boring but you know, we had to go.

My head teacher was reading out names for certificates or something like that and I wasn't really listening. My head teacher then called my name, but didn't say a last name so I had no idea if it was me or someone with the same name as me.

So seeing as no one else got up, I stood up and started walking to the front of the hall where my head teacher was. Little did I know that there was a tiny reception kid already being handed their certificate. I looked around me and everyone else was sniggering. Now, it wouldn't of been that bad if it was just the name thing as loads of people do that, but the certificate was actually for 'best receptionist dressed on dressing up day.' I just stood there going as red as a tomato and wishing the ground would swallow me up...
