My mind is slowly pulled out of imagination as I hear a hard banging on my door.

My eyes open in a flash as I remember the reality: Shit. The new neighbors are coming over.

I jolted up and ran to the door, as my storming mother came in.

"Heather! Where the hell you been? I told you to come downstairs!" My mother said angrily at me.

I let out a raspberry sigh, and scratch my head. I really don't wanna do this, it's so stupid!

"Mom, I was sleeping this whole time.. I lost totally track of sleep and forgot to set a alarm." I said, half apologizing.

"You have five minutes to fix yourself and come downstairs, and that's an ORDER." My mom says with a tone and closes the door.

I let out a irritated groan and change my pajamas to some fitted jeans and a loose cashmere sweater. My hair was a bit bed-headish, and I ran my fingers in it just to finish the job of that "Don't care look". I touched up my face with some mascara and concealer under my eyes. Better late than ugly, I always say.

I look around for the nearest and comfortable shoes, I spotted my uggs boots. I quickly put them on and went down the stairs.

"Honey, can you get your Dad more dipping sauce for these wings." My dad said, not looking into my direction.

"Sure, dad..." I said, not even looking at the direction of the tv. I went to the kitchen to see the dipping sauce on the kitchen table and opened it to put it in a small container. I shake the bottle as some of the sauce ended on my finger.

"Tch, I hate football nights." I said under my breathe.

I hear footsteps come from the opposite direction into the kitchen. I glanced, then double take.

"Duncan!?!?" I yelled.

Duncan widened his eyes and yelled out my name.

"Why is there criminal in MY house?!" I said, slamming the bottle on the table.

"Well well, It's nice to see you babe." He grins and wraps his arms across his chest.

He chuckles as he see's my face fuming with anger, that still hasn't been forgotten ever since the show.

"Why are you here?! I never invited you here." I said, with disgust.

"If I would have known you would here, I wouldn't be here in the first place." He says raising his voice at me.

"Then GO! No one wants you here." I said, adding emotion.

"I wasn't meant to be here, till your mother invited me over. That's a shame, here I thought your mom looked quite appealing.. but it seems I seen a face like that before somewhere." He says clicking his tongue to mock me.

My boiling blood fuses through my veins. I HATE Duncan.

"Don't talk like that about my mother, you juvenile wanna-be thug!" I said, screaming on the top of my lungs.

Duncan's face for a few moments darken as he came up to me and raised a arm at me. I smacked him as a reflect to snap himself out of his mental state.

"Your such a-" Duncan says and looks at me briefly as he fumed out the kitchen, slamming my front door.

I held my right hand and, ran upstairs as my mom tried to stop me.

I went to my room and locked it behind me with anger. I heard commotion going on downstairs as I covered my ears.

"What happened to Duncan??" My mom said, to Tarun.

"I'm sorry about him, he probably wasn't in the mood and left. He always does that." Tarun says getting up from the couch with his cane.

"We're sorry to hear that, He's a nice guy." My dad says helping Tarun to the door.

"Yeah, not a lot of people thinks so, because of his past..." Tarun says looking down.

"I'm sorry this had to happen.. Take some food back home, while you at it." My mom says giving Tarun wrapped tinfoil.

"Thank you guys, I hope this doesn't jeopardized anything." He says, opening the door.

"Not at all! We know how it is raising a Teenage nowadays." My mom smiled.

"Thank you for the food, Mr. and Mrs. Kasuga. Have a goodnight." The old man says walking to his porch.

I sighed for the 100th time and grabbed my hair. I always hated Duncan, from the moment I laid eyes on him. He's so
manipulative, sarcastic and so unpredictable! I hate him!

I let out another frustration sigh with bottled up anger from the past..

I just hate him, and I can't believe he's next to me.
