Scarlett's POV
This was the fifth time. This was the fifth time that I had tried to kill myself. And this was the second time that Faye had to stick her fingers down my throat.
I shut my door and quickly got out of my wet clothes, slipping on some blue and white pajama shorts and an over sized Harley Davidson tee shirt. I then removed the towel from my bed, the one I was laying on, and I curled into a ball under the covers.
I heard footsteps and then my door swung open, revealing a worried Luke, with sadness in his eyes.
"I'm pretty sure I told you to leave..." I spoke, my eyes closing again and my irritation with him rising.
"I'm not going to leave you alone for long periods of time anymore." I could hear him walking towards the bed, then feeling it dip down, indicating that he was sitting on it.
"I'm fine, Luke. What do you care anyways?" I questioned, opening one eye, wanting to know the answer to why he was always on my case.
"You might find this hard to believe, but I actually care about humans. I wouldn't want anyone to kill the-" He stopped, becoming aware of the sensitivity of those words. Of how much those words affected me.
I twisted around, not wanting to face him anymore, embarrassed that he had seen me at such a low point, that he was acknowledging it and making sure I was okay.
"Scarlett...Please face me..." His voice cracked.
"I'm tired, Luke..." I softly spoke.
"Okay, doll. I'll leave." The bed shifted and the sound of footsteps grew fainter and fainter. And as soon as my eyes closed again, I was asleep.

I woke up at 4:07 in the evening, still exhausted, but I got out of bed anyways.
My door was slightly open and the light coming through was blinding me. I stepped out of my room and looked to my right, only to find a sleeping Luke curled up against the wall next to my room.
I stared with a shocked expression for a few seconds, then looked around to see if anyone else was witnessing the weirdness of this situation.
Everyone else was downstairs, sitting at the table playing a game of Clue. I also took in the fact that there were shot glasses and beer bottles everywhere. This should be interesting...
I walked down the stairs and Caden saw me before everyone else.
"Hey, Scarlett! Wanna play Clue with us?! We are getting ready to start a new game. Clay cheated on the last one.." Clay seemed to take offense to this and threw the game box a Caden.
"I didn't cheat!! I used my resources and took the easier route! That isn't cheating!!" Everyone laughed hysterically. They were all very tipsy already.
"How long has Luke been there?" I joined them at the table and grabbed an unopened beer from the table.
"Since you kicked him out, he looked in your room to check if you were asleep every ten minutes or so. Then he fell asleep about two hours ago." Nikole informed me, taking a drink from her water bottle, she was the only sober one in the room, other than myself.
"That's weird..." I mumbled to myself, not wanting to get into why he did that, because it would lead to a discussion I wanted to avoid.
"Well lets get started!" I yelled, wanting the mood to lighten up.
Then we began.
***
"We have literally played seven times in an hour and a half and you have won every single time, Scarlett!! You must be cheating!" Kace yelled at me, everyone screaming in agreeance.
