Chapter four

Have you ever done something in your past with someone that turned out to be a mistake for the other person but not you?  Well that's me right now. A year ago something happened and ever since then it changed the way I saw that person, it made me love that person even more than I already did. I've had so many dreams of that night and I just wish it could not just be a memory, I wanted it to be real and regular but I know that won't happen if I still have a girlfriend so I was planning on ending things with Alaine so that I could make my move.

School was finally coming to an end. I was currently sitting in Geography class waiting on the clock to it 2:50  it was now 2:30. I wanted to hurry up and break things off with Alaine. The faster the better.

"You can do this. Just go in there and tell her how you feel about her."

I coached myself. I was standing in front of my mirror trying to give myself a pep talk before Kash comes over for our weekly sleep over.

This is harder than I thought. I've known this girl for pretty much all my life and if she accepts what I'll say to her then everything would change.

"Pookie where are you? I have so much to tell you."

Kash said bursting into my bathroom. I looked at her and she looked amazing.

I stood there staring for gos know how long until something she said made me come back to earth.

"So I've been texting this guy for a couple weeks and the other day I was like what the heck, he's cute and fun so why don't we just date and well we went out yesterday and he asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes"

She said in one breath then started giggling.

I can't believe she went and date someone else when u was planning on telling her how I feel. I walked out the bathroom and sat on my bed trying to process all this information. Like what the heck! She's been single like forever but just has I realized my feelings for her she went and find herself a boyfriend.

"Oh well that's great to hear" I finally found the strength to say the words "I'm happy for you." I faked a smile then laid in bed.

"What's wrong with you? Are you sick or something?" She asked while laying on my back.

"I broke up with Alaine on Tuesday" I told her.

"What? Its Thursday and you're just telling me this? O my god! I've been waiting to hear you say this for the longest. "

I sighed. I wouldn't have felt like shit if I didn't just break someone's heart for someone who broke my without even knowing.

"Hey can we do this sleep over another night? I'm not feeling too good." I asked faking a yawn.

"Hey whatever the matter is you can talk to me about it"

"Yeah I know but not tonight, why don't you call your boyfriend and u too go see a movie or something?" I suggested. Anything for her to leave right now.

"Ummm wow never thought I'd see the day where you're kicking me out. But okay I don't mind spending sometime with josh tho." She said then hopped off my back.

I laid there until I heard my door shut and her car drive off before I sulked more into the bed thinking. 

"I wish she knew"

I hope this feeling goes away soon I never thought that loving would hurt.
