Autumn POV

I'm running.

Faster, faster. I tell myself.

But it's not enough.

The person behind me catches up.

I make a split-second decision to attempt a small Travel. I use capitals because it's almost teleportation. I'll let you ponder on that for a moment while I explain it. You have to be able to draw on the power of others (sisterhood) however, it's nessacary to draw on at least 3. We have 2. Which is why I failed and fell on my face.

I felt a tap on my shoulder and look up to see a smiling Marley above me. "You know that won't work Autumn." Agh, she knew what I tried. "I know." I sigh in defeat, "But like you wouldn't try if you were in my position." Marley smiles even wider. She's always been the funny one. Clarissa the rock. I'm just there. Useless as always I think as I give a small smile back. Sometimes you've gotta accord defeat.

I look around, scoping for him.

Don't say "Who?"like you don't know. You know exactly who I'm talking about.

I get a message from Clarissa I've got him and trouble I sign and think back What?

Did I not tell you about how our brains are connected in a way. So we can do the whole Thomas and Teresa (My amaze Runner OTP) thing.

It's your everyday pest I get from Clarissa.

I hit something hard.

It can't be a tree I reached out for those.

I look up expecting the worst.

I get it.

I look up and sneer at his smirking face. I want to smack him.

So I do the only thing I can think of.

I run, mentally telling Marley and Clarissa where to meet me after they kick Josh out.

At least I didn't have to deal with that.

Josh POV

I didn't find her and I'm pissed.

You know who did find her?!?!

ASHTON!!!

That horrible person hurting my girl.

She's mine.

Mine.

I think about what I would do if I caught her. I would work things out (probably just kiss her) and then she'd most likely kiss me back this time (I hope).
