Autumn POV
I sit in class "listening" to the teacher ramble on about what x equals. I couldn't care less. I already checked the homework and I'd much rather be investigating the symbol Coral told us about. I looked all of last night and couldn't find anything. Plus, to make it worse every time I seemed close the link didn't work or something like that.
On top of that, I was swamped with work and Coral is still not fully recovered from whatever epidemic she went through. She passes out at random times, although it's usually when we talk about the people who took her. However, she seems to be blacking out less and less, meaning that we can talk to her more and get more information. From what we've gathered she's a water fairy and was kidnapped by the group or company or whatever they are. She was tortured for days until they thought she was dead. They finally dropped her "body" into the ocean. That was a mistake on their part.
From there she drifted around, the water being the only thing that was sustaining her until she was rescued by us.
