Richelle's POV

Today is the first day at my new school. I really want to make some friends and make a good impression. I'm sick of being pushed around and being called a loser. I made sure I picked an outfit that will impress everyone (^^) it took me a while to walk in heels without falling or tripping but managed. I brushed my hair, teeth and put in my new contacts. I didn't put any makeup on except for a little lipgloss. Once I was happy with my outfit I walked downstairs. My aunt complimented my outfit and Summer hugged. "You look different, Richi." Richi is her nickname for me. "Well I bought some new clothes for my new school." She smiles and goes back to eating her toast. Her primary school is next to Brooklyn High so I can see her at lunch and walk out with her. I eat some cereal and a protein shake for breakfast. After that my aunt drops Summer and I off. I give her one last hug and she runs off with her friends. I take a deep breath, slip on my sunglasses and open the door. This is it my new school. The door swung open a little too fast and it collided with the wall with a thud. This caused attention to go towards me. I put on a sly smile and held my head high as I walked through. People made a pathway for me which was kinda cool. The boys looked at me with love struck eyes and wide smiles while the girls looked at me with envy. I was always naturally pretty so I hardly wear makeup. Mostly because I suck at it. I used to have braces and glasses on so people instantly classified me as a loser which I think is wrong. Why judge people on their looks? But that's jut what high school is like. I walk over to my assigned locker. I open it and begin putting my books inside. Once I was done I closed my locker. On the other side of my door stood a boy that looks the same age as me. He was buff and had brown hair. He had a smirk on and I could already tell he was a cliché 'fuckboy' that's in all the movies. "Hey newbie what's your name?" He asks me in a seductive voice. "I don't know you tell me?" He looks a little taken aback by this. I'm guessing he isn't used to a girl not instantly being in love with him. I can tell by the way girls' eyes pop out when he walks past them. "Well I'm Max so newbie which school did you originally come from?" He continues to ask me questions but I don't feel comfortable sharing things with a stranger. "Why would I tell you?" He sighs and rolls his eyes. "You're annoying but mysterious, I like mysterious. Can I get your number?" He winks at me. "Actually you can." His eyes light up but the light fades as I flip my hair and walk away from him. He probably didn't expect that. I walk right into Japanese and sit at the back. I have enjoyed the attention, except from Max, so far but I don't want any more even though I speak fluent Japanese. The lesson ran smoothly and before I knew it, it was the end of the day. I met Summer outside her classroom and i held her hand as we walked out. She's a little shy but I try to help her as much as possible. My aunt picks us and drives us home. My first day at Brooklyn High has been a success
